I promised you some pics soon and here they are. this will be my take for Daytona Bike Week next year, I'll try again with the X1 at the Rat's Hole. the S1 will be ready for the following year, I have a big project for that one. there are still few things I wanna review before the show that will be changed after NYE. a Penske shock, a Kooks exhaust if I still can find one other wise D&D or Force, rear pulley same design as the PM wheels, like the one I have on the S1, Wave Design front and rear discs and prob PM rear caliper (I already have the front one). hope you like it bro, next week will be ready... no Brinn. plastics will be black with some orange accents and a little white mother of pearl pin stipe, that's it. letters in the words will be orange, will say "Buell American MuscleCycles" on the tank and "X1-fighter" (name of the bike) on the Night-Rod flyscreen, right on the surrounding of the headlight. the whole bike will be orange and black, didn't wanna do too many colors in contrast. I really don't like that pulley but I have to suck it up for another couple of months. I really don't like the design of the stock one... |

The_italian_job, that looks great. I wish I had a garage like that. Working on the garage floor gets old. I need a lift. I know what you mean about the pully but if it was a different color from the frame it may look better. At least I hope so because that is what I am doing for the S2 custom I am building. I would really love to see your bikes in person sometime. Frank |

"did wilson send you his frame." don't think so, that frame has the subframe mounting points, and the removable section for belt changes - both of which are unique to the X1. |

no, this bike was Andrew's, remember??? his nick should be Wardan, if I remember well... this is the bike I started from. it was in ok-conditions, good enough for my project. the engine is pretty fresh I must say, once opened we didn't find any problems. |

Reducati, the X1 is a FI bike, no carb... |

Phelan, the tires are Avon Xtreme Rain, supermotard special tires. not cheap tires, but very unique... |

Elegance and sophistication as only the Italian job could do it... I am awestruck. I'm glad you used your midas touch on it. Andrew |

Hey Andrew, good to hear from you after long time... I'm glad you like how I put down your X1, it fitted perfectly in my project. I envisioned this bike as a mean street-fighter and I'm sure it'll be like that once finished. stay tuned, I'd really like to have your opinion at the end... no Brinn, the short tail section comes with the undertray, no need to weld it... next week I'll post the pics of the bike completed. |
