I thought I was getting a good deal until I read further down. I just paid $6500 with everything except insurance on a 2008 1125r at Long Island City, ny HD. Had to join this forum now too. |

Here's mine: By the way, I liked this and thought it would make a great desktop background. I left the original sized image up so if you want to make your own desktop picture, feel free. Link to Buell logo: Buell logo Wayne (Message edited by wbrisett on October 20, 2009) |

This is the very first true sport bike I have ever owned in my nearly 30 years of riding... (I don't count the uly as a sport bike regardless of what my insurance company says). Thanks to Erik and all the elves. It saddens me that my gain is your lost. Wayne |

FYI. My CR has a build date of 12/08 so it's been at the dealer for a while. Wonder if it has latest ECM updates? Vin. 001512 (Message edited by dmhines on October 19, 2009) |

Mine has a build date of 1/09, so it's a little older. I am going to have my first service done at the dealership. That way I can make sure I have the latest ECM updates. After that service, I plan on doing all of them myself. Wayne |

I would hope new bike prep would have included latest Flash. I know when I talked to salesman he had to check inventory for a black one because it wasn't on showroom floor. Hopefully it was a fresh prep and not prepped in 12/08. Bike had 12 miles on it when I left dealer. |

HMMM well yes Rob (Carbonbigfoot) did write the check but the bike is MINE. Hello, I am Tammy Rob's wife, new 1125CR (black) owner. I think he thinks I am joking but it will soon have hot pink flames on the pods(so he will keep his booty off of my bike). Black is faster especially with pink flames. |

No brainer . . . Mikey will buy it and like it AND the Ducati. I know how he rides and he'll ride the piss out of both of them and enjoy it. Cool stuff . . . an 1125R I can borrow. Buy it! |

I guess I'll have to change my Username now, especially since I spelled it wrong years ago! I bought an '09 1125R (white/blue) today in nearby Joplin, MO @ Cycle Connection H-D. That's an amazing amount of bike for these prices, topped off by a great experience getting to know the folks there in Joplin. |

Or maybe you are the Ducati type and like to look at your bike more than ride it? And there it is. It's been a while since I've seen a "Ducati type" comment. Especially with everything going on. |

And there it is. It's been a while since I've seen a "Ducati type" comment. Especially with everything going on. Yeah. What does Buell closing have to do with the fact that most Ducatisi are in love with owning a Ducati (not riding) and wearing red stuff that says "Ducati." What changed? Please explain. |

What's up guys. Got a 1125R last night for $6000 out the door in Orange County, CA - Bike is sweet. I was told by a more experienced Buell owner to do the following: 1) make sure I have the latest ECM flash - 05Z. 2) make sure they do the front brake line recall reposition with the longer brake line bracket to reposition it to the outside of the fork leg 3) keep an eye on bleeder nipple on the clutch case for leaks - (apparently there is an alternate case "Rev B Kit" which is stock on '09 - so if it leaks ask for that under warranty 4) go over oil check procedure with the new dip stick 5) download suspension settings from website as the ones in the manual are crap 6) remove the Noid - remove the solenoid inside the airbox to eliminate throttle cut off between 3500-5000 RPM |
