Yesterday starting at 4pm (a dealer) in Dallas, slashed all the prices on their Buells. On 10/15 from 5pm - 7pm this dealer sold... 2 09 1125CR's (one to me) for $4995 1 09 XB12X for $5995 1 09 1125R for $5995 So today, I go to work and tell my coworkers about the Buell sale. 3 of my coworkers bug out at 10:30 to go check it out. I arrived at the dealer at 11:45 to pick up my CR and found out that all 3 of my coworkers picked up Buells. 1 White/Blue 1125R for $5995 1 Black/Black full race fairing 1125R for $5995 1 Red/Black 1125R for $5995 Another guy came in at 12 noon and bought... 1 White/Blue 1125R for $5995 and last but not least... at 1pm a gentleman came in and picked up the only 2010 model they had 1 Blk/Blk XB12SS for $5995. The dealer said they just secured 4 more 25CR's and 2 25R's from another dealer and would be selling them for the prices listed above this weekend. So that is 9 Buells in less than 2 days. ~Fire Sale, Fire Sale Fire Sale~ | ||

I am one of the three that purchased a Buell (1125R). I have admit it's a stretch for me going to an American Made bike. I get jaundice just thinking I was in a Harley dealership PURCHASING a bike there. But alas I succumbed to a deal I just couldn't refuse. Thing is I thought the guys were crazy to actually purchase these bikes....until they returned from lunch. I sat on the bikes when they returned and was amazed at the balance and weight. It reminded me of a Ducati, which is saying a lot. The 1125r caught my eye and I just had to go see if they had any left. Called the dealership and they still had two left, "I'll be there in 2 hours". Showed up with cash in hand and they delivered the bike to my house this evening. I rode up in a 08' 1200GT BMW and the sales guys looked at me like I was crazy for bird-doggin the Buells. But you just can't beat the price. Looks like the Hayabusa will be the red-headed stepchild in my garage. | ||

Just talked to my dealer. He said they would match any price. So I told him about the deals reported on this forum from Longhorn Harley Davidson, Grand Prairie. He looked it up on the computer and said now they are asking $5495 for both CR's and R's. Not sure how long to wait on this. | ||

They wouldn't budge on shipping or freight which totaled $1100 or $1200 plus tt&l - I haggled yesterday and said I wanted it for $6500 OTD but they couldn't and I didn't want to miss this opportunity, she matches (both are red) my '09 CR I've had for a little over a year - both are awesome in different ways | ||

If anyone has bought a 2010 1125r can they post or pm me a copy of the invoice with all the delivery fees and what not so that I can get a price match from my dealer. I have a bike reserved, but would be nice if I could knock another grand or so off the price. Currently $8749 is the best I can do. | ||

I called them this morning in reference to this ad. False advertising as far as I'm concerned. I was told they have a red 1125CR for $6K and a demo black 1125CR for $7K. I asked about the ad for $5K on the web. He had no good answer. Tipsy | ||
