Yes, Bob&Deb made it home, The cats were glad to see 'em, 'cause they still ain't sure about me being in the house... But finaly we get to the point, ME! What am I doing, how am I feeling, what am I wearing... where to start! I love my WarPony. What a great bike. Like flying on an arrow. Precise. Surgical. Zoomie, in fact. Great for counting coup (look it up) on Semi's and whatnot. I am in a band! Pretty fun to get back into playing. We're doing original stuff, but I get to pick a cover to sing... not sure yet... 'All the Young Dudes' has always been a favorite. Any ideas? One of the great parts about this band (besides that I've known/played with 3 of the guys for 20-25 years)...[one of the guitars played in the world famous "Latter Day Saints"!!!!] is it's about 30 mi. from home down in Olympia. So I get to RIDE MY BIKE!!! I like to ride that bike...  | ||

Well if I didn't know any better I'm pretty sure I wouldn't even care. Yup, it's like that in Craptoma. Good part is I'm at work. Cause I get to ride home. Bad part is everything else. Mostly. Got a new flash in my BadPony. She's alittle smoother from 0 to 3000 rpm, little better milage, a little more used to me boss'n her around. She minds well. So I've got exposed to H1N1 again. Taking Tamaflu. Again. mmmm, medicin-ey. Since I'm so stupid and let my wife come home (again), now she's leaving again. (again) So it's just me and the boy. And packing. Lots of packing. Man I got a lot of great s hit. I can't decide between a giant 'Going Out of Life' sale, and being forced to keep it all safe for future generations of pack-rats. I have been slowly moving crap over to Bob and Debbie's,... and I don't think they suspect anything yet. Also some has slipped over the Northern Border; and down into Black Diamond, to grace the unsuspecting homes of my True Brothers and Sisters. When I die I want to be eaten by hyena's in the Seringeti. See if ya can help me out with this... | ||

I'm a BAAAAAAD Boy; I couldn't believe the Buell discount rumors floating around the web, so this afternoon I went on down to my local dealer for conformation or denial. Well I'll be Hot'Damn, the rumors are true. $5000 off an 1125 and $3000 off XB 1200's. Well......I now have a contingency on an 2009 XB 1200 R in white for $7500 out the door. Special financing? You bet 3.99%. Am I taking advantage of a bad situation for Buell? No. The dealer told me that they have sold 12 Buell's in the last 2 days, the enthusiasm for Buell is alive and well, some of us just needed a prod in the arse to open our wallets. I'm sure Galen would agree, Ahhh, how long till spring? Chris | ||

Update!......Update!......Update! After having a chance to sleep on the XB 1200 R purchase and talking with number 1, I decided the 12R wasn't the one for me. After I finished my homework this afternoon I did a complete phone search of Buell dealers within 200 miles. With proper research and a few conversations with Bobby G, I am now the proud owner of an 1125 R; Betty Black with Black trim, at a price even less than I was going to pay for the 12R. I am very tempted. The deals are fantastic and I love the 1125R. But its not much of a two-up bike. I do, more or less, have a green light to spend 3G or so on an older 900SS. Can that stretch to 5G for an 1125? | ||
