Well after taking 18 months to decide, lurking around here for a few months, and finally registering, I will be taking delivery of a new XB12X, blue and bagged. I had my eyes on an XB12XP but the dealer closed, I ended up getting a good deal with a great dealer and we made it all work. Yup this is the way I feel! I've already gotten some great information from this site. |

Good morning, I posted here over a year ago,but lost password. I was very unhappy about HD closing the Buell plant. My wife and I ride Buells. I don't know how many people use this site, but I think we may be able to put a group of people who could do something to bring the Buell company back to life. It would be hard for any one of us alone, but working together it could be done. I want to ride my Buell for a long time. |

Can't believe they closed Buell. Really wanted one as a second (modern cafe) bike. The one American bike I could be proud of. Erik tell us what you need to restart. |

Hi Everyone. I'm from Sao Paulo Brazil and I have a 09' 1125CR. I Had 3 Buells before this one (06' XB9SX, 07' XB12SS, 07' XB12STT). Too bad I could not keep those.
I was in the 25th Homecoming and met some of you there! I ride bikes since 1983. Buell is half of my life now. I Hope that i can be helpful here and share my knowledge with you! We have a very nice group here in Brazil: www.buellbr.com.br - restrict for owners in our country... |

Hello all, my name is Earache and I live in Indy. A friend of mine just bought a new 1125R and wanted me to make some parts for him, so he directed me here so that I might ask questions about sizes of things, etc should I have any. Looking forward to gaining some knowledge about the 1125R from those of you that have them. |

To every sigle badweather biker and their families that rode into Buell. I want to tell you that never have I been so touched in my life as I was when I saw you all pulling into Buell's parking lot today. You are AWESOME!!! Not only that you made the ride but you also bought lunch for Buell and every one kept thanking us. I could not think of a better way to end things. I love you all and when Buell is closed the memory of this day will stay with us forever. |

Hello, new Bueller here. I just bought my first Buell after admiring them for several years. I added a 09 XB12Scg to the stable. I also ride a 06 HD Streetrod that I love. Two totally different bikes. I'm just beginning to tweak the bike to fit me so I'll be hanging out here trying to learn as much as I can. I already did the headlamp mod to keep both beams on. Thanks for sharing and I look forward to being part of the family. |

Hello from Fort Worth, TX. I picked up an 09 1125 CR from Bumpus HD in Tennessee. It was well worth the drive as I was unable to find any locally because they were sold out or not willing to deal. Thanks to Ft_Bstrd (Jeremy) at Bumpus for working with me. 1990. I've had all Suzukis until now. Here's my list of bikes: 90 GS500 00 SV650 "Stealth" 03 V-Strom 1000 04 GSXR 1000 Mladin 07 V-Strom 650 ABS (Still have) 09 Buell 1125 CR "Vader"
I look forward to getting the suspension sorted and really putting it through its paces. (Message edited by Kidder on November 08, 2009) |

Bought a 2009 1125R 3 weeks ago, inspired by two friends who are long-time Buellers. Today I rode my 25R around to 3 central Colorado Buell dealers....just to say hello and get a pulse. High Country was last cuz they are 30+ miles away. Their website & FB page already made positive perceptions on this new Buell owner, but DANG....upon arrival I knew right away that they were different. Any business is only as successful as the quality of it's employees, and the genuine morale they carry. I wasn't in the door 5 min when Parts guy Zach saw my Buell jacket (then my bike) and began talking my ear off about the 1125.....we walked outside talking & I got a very valuable education on the inner workings of the bike for the next 30 minutes! GREAT suggestions...thanks Zach. I bought a K&N filter from him, while looking around at the wide selection of parts & accessories they carry. Then I found owner Dave and introduced myself as just a new Buell rider....he welcomed me into his office, dropped his work & we bs'd about bikes & business without any rush. The enthusiam for Buell support was obvious! And all the "extra" activities (fashion shows, kids parties, military troop support, etc etc) that they sponsor.....huge kudos. But I wasn't done.... I walked back to Service where all the techs were busy, and met manager Kevin. Not 2 minutes into describing questions about the 1125's ECM, Kevin asked "Is your bike here.....bring it around inside and let's see if you need an updated ECM Flash." I did; it did; and Kevin did a computer update to my bike within 20 min. When I approached his counter to pay, he just shook my hand and said "Welcome to owning your first Buell and to High Country...Ride safe." Wow....They won this customer for life. Fellow riders....checkout High Country Buell-HD in Fredrick, CO as they are well worth the visit!! Greg K. (RedDog-GK) (Zach suggested I get on this forum.)

Welcome to the Buell Family Greg. I enjoyed the visit yesterday, THANKS for the props to all of us at High Country. There's "something different" about Buells and those who ride them. Aside from some petty bickering, this is a VERY tight-knit group. Always a pleasure to welcome new riders. Zack |

Hello Buell Nation, I want to Thank OZ666 for doggin me to test ride a Ulysses. This all started back in 2006 to test ride a Ulysses. I went to my local Harley mega store, only to be disappointed by a bull story that they didn't have a rental at that time so I couldn't test ride one. This showed me that they didn't cater to Buell sales. I have since been following Buell.com., thinking and reading about Buells ideas and innovations to the motorcycle world. When I received THAT email from Eric, I sat back and f'n cried.(and I didn't even own a Buell!!) I figured I screwed up, waited to long, was not going to get the bike I've been thinking about for the past several years. Looking to be apart of the Buell family, a brother and sisterhood of everyday people working and helping each other towards a common need. I think history will see an uniqueness that will stand the test of time!! Thanks again to OZ666, I just purchased a new anniversary edition Blue XB12XT. Driving it home from the dealership was an, I can't even explain the awe. You see, I have not been on a bike for 16 years. Eric, let us know how we can all help to resurrect Buell!!!!!!!!! J.L. |

I just purchased my first Buell, a 1125CR. I had a Harley Fat Boy but sold it in 07. My good friend told me about the deal he got and I found the same deal. I'm so glad I got the chance to own a masterpiece. Its even better that its made in the USA. Hey ya all from Texas! |
