Given the current state of things what's $8500 sound like for a zero mile showroom R? My guess is that one could do better. |

Unbelievable. Right up to the end, poking a stick in the dead animal; the behavior that killed him. |

how hard is it to put an R fairing on the CR? The CR's here have a deeper discount, but I'm thinking more of a fairing would be nice for long rides... my cg gets tiring at 80mph after a while. |

LOL... Went to the closest dealer this morning, and they still want dealer invoice for all Buell models. They told me they won't go lower than $9680+tax+title on a 2008 1125R. |

" ...how hard is it to put an R fairing on the CR? The CR's here have a deeper discount,... " I guarantee that it will be cheaper to buy the R than buy a marginally cheaper CR and put a fairing from an R on it. I could be wrong, but I doubt it. ~jammer |

I have the fairings on my r and I can tell you that they will not work with the cr due to the fact that the fairing uses the upper fairing bolts to mount it. |

This sh^% makes me sick. My MSRP when I bought mine last year was $11K. Maybe I should've waited. Oh well. Looks like I've got a collector's item now. Maybe in 10 years I can make some money at a Barrett Jackson auction. |

This sh^% makes me sick. My MSRP when I bought mine last year was $11K. Mine was $12K. The worst thing you can do is think about how much money the bike is worth. You can do what lots of early adapters are doing--join in and get a second bike for 1/2 of what you bought the first one for! Remember that sooner of later all the deals will be done, so there won't be that factor to drag prices down. Maybe we will a resurgence of resale value once the fire sale is over. I think the 1125 bikes will be a sort of cult classic with the advantage that it can back it up in the performance category as well. Who knows? |

Several posts say HD is giving dealers $5k rebates on the 1125's but only $3k rebates on the XB's. Advertised pricing seems to back that up. |

Got mine home today from Cowboy HD in Austin. $5800+tax=6320 OTD. Talk to Charlie Lefort. He said they had sold 14 Buells all year but last Fri-Sat sold 13. Still have some in stock and can get more from other locations.

I cant believe they are selling for these prices. It also seems to me that the more north (north east) you go (to my area) the more expensive they are. This does make me want to fly to tx or fl and buy another . . . . |

All I know where there are two 08 1125r's and two 09 1125cr's for $6000 each OTD but you pay your own sales tax wherever that may be. These are new in IN. Since my dealer is not a sponsor please pm me if you have any SERIOUS interest. If he can sell these four he will remain a Buell dealer. regards ref |

Absolutely love 'em since I first saw one in 2000. I'd also like to get my hands on an RSS1200. |

I actually feel bad for folks that paid MSRP or close to it, but I couldn't not buy one at these prices. Since no two deals are exactly alike, it's sometimes hard to make an apples-to-apples comparison, especially on the internet. But here's a data point: I bought an '09 1125R (white/blue) today for just under $7K OTD, fresh out the box even. I could have had an '08 for much less, but really wanted the '09 and the white/blue. They're even going to deliver it to my house since it's 70 miles away. Yes, seriously. Mike |
