My boss told me yesterday we are going to be getting rid of some race parts. Not sure what all we have, just getting going on this. Parts I know are going - One full race exhaust from Henry, NIB One full carbon-fiber race skin - gorgeous and light as a feather. One Suter slipper clutch. Don't have prices yet, but these were all high-dollar parts. I should have prices this evening, maybe some more parts too. Zack |

I talked to my boss some about this today - I'll have prices on Wednesday. I know WE have 2,300 bucks in the Suter clutch. Obviously we want to lose as little as possible on the deal, so don't expect that clutch to sell for 200 bucks. I also was told we will have a full front brake quick-connect and the Ohlins steering dampner. The quick-connect is made by Goodridge in England and is hydraulic art. Quick-connect is easy, but doing so with NO bubbles introduced is NOT. It's not cheap either. I won't have any input on this till Wednesday. I am starting up our winter Ebay sales. I'll let y'all know first when I am listing Buell parts. Most will be Harley parts tho. I thought about this a lot - I'm sad now as we all are. Timing sux, but I believe this is the best thing for Erik AND us. This ain't over by a looooong shot. Before we quit selling Buell parts, something new will be there. Zack |

As soon as I get prices, sounds like Wednesday after work.. 7:30 pm... I'll post them up here. The only number I've heard before was the 2300 the slipper clutch cost. I do have a shot of the first race pipe we got but I haven't seen this system to see if it's the same. It just came in a couple of weeks ago. Sorry I can't get you more info. I'll try to get some pix of this stuff soon. Zack |

I've been down hard with an "upper respiratory infection" since Sunday, tried to contact my boss to finally get some prices and HE's out sick now. Bear with me/us, as soon as possible I'll get y'all the details. This would almost be comical if I(and others) didn't feel like crap. Be patient, some body's going to get some top quality race parts soon. I wish we had more, cool stuff. Zack |

Hey guys, finally healed and back to work. I have a que of sorts for these parts, so those who asked for a particular item are in line. Like I said, these are pricey parts but the real deal from Henry and Jamie at BMC Racing. I am posting the prices WE paid and would like to get close to. I have a little wiggle room on some of the parts except the exhaust system, it is a full Stainless system, 60mm pipes. All these parts are "new in box", never installed. Suter mechanical slipper clutch - $2300.00 Stainless Steel race Exhaust - $1599.00 Front Brake-line quick connect kit - $765.00 Ohlins steering damper - $399.00 CF race skins - front clip/bellypan - $1179.00 e-mail me your intents at parts@highcountryharley or call me at (303)833-6777 Zack (Message edited by zac4mac on November 01, 2009) |

A picture of the first exhaust we got. The one for sale is newer, haven't looked to see if it's identical.

Wow that is sexy!! You sure it is full TI though. It looks alot like SS. TI colors blue where it is welded. Either way it is quite sexy, just affects value and weight between SS and TI. I am still very interested in seeing pics of the exhaust you currently have for sale. Thanks |

Early Buell factory race exhausts were all stainless steel including the muffler can. Later ones were the same, but with a titanium muffler can oval skin. Full titanium exhausts are available from Termignoni and FMF, but for a lot more than the retail price on the Buell kit. We could have ordered full Ti from our supplier and saved 5 pounds, but it would have made the retail price of the exhaust more than $3000. The 1125RR has run both the FMF ti exhaust and the Buell SS with Ti can exhaust. The bikes in the Superbike race at New Jersey ran the Buell exhaust as they already had to be ballasted substantially to come up to the weight limit. |

Thanks I understand about the weight savings versus cost. I also realize what systems the AMA guys ran. I was asking because the exhaust was advertised as a Titanium exhaust, but appears to be SS. Thanks for the clarification though. |

THANK YOU Anony!!! All the TI was hearsay, and I was wondering how to make sure. Not intentionally trying to mislead ANYONE. Going in the back now to check on all the parts, maybe some pix soon. Zack |
