Posted as a response to my request for an email address to send best wishes to Erik and Company in Court's section: and this is from Court. I can't respond to all the threads tonight . . I HAVE to respond to this one. I know how Erik rose to the occasion for the American Servicemen in Iraq and Afghanistan. It would be absolutely wonderful if folks would send TWO cards. One to Erik. One to THE ELVES (I'll have them posted in the lunch room) Buell Motorcycle Company 2799 Buell Drive East Troy, WI 53120 I'm betting you can't believe how much joy Erik would get taking these home and being able to read them in the evening. It's important. You guys are wonderful. Get 2 cards, fill em out, and send them. Now. Every one of you. And spread the word. All the joy you have had on your respective bikes, all the fun, grins, giggles, laugh out loud moments... We need to let these guys know what they mean to us. It's Important. Let's let them know. ALL warranty service is handled by Harley-Davidson. If your bike has been off the road that much I'd get them to buy it back. It shouldn't be a problem. | ||

They should.....but they won't. Service in the UK is shite. Basically a case of, 'we've had your money, now f*ck off'. If anyone can help, please please, let me know. If in private email bubba.luv@sky.com | ||

I'd be on the phone with Customer Service. I have never seen that 'we've had your money, now f*ck off' attitude. They may stumble through some bureaucracy but they do a good job. | ||

Customer service in the U.S. couldn't believe how crap I'd been treated here in the UK. Didn't get my bike fixed though, it still jerks and bucks at low speed, the tickover is all over the place and the bloody seat still doesn't fit properly. Please somebody give me a name+number to call because my dealer doesn't give a shit. | ||

Rdmwc - My switch wires broke twice. Managed to get home fine both times. First time, I just pulled the switch apart and fixed the wire. Second time, I fixed the wire AND removed some material from the fairing stay. I think I'm good now. Z |
