45 deg for long distances. Sure a quick juant for an hour at 30's possible. I wouln't call that entirely fun though,when its that cold you need another motorized fun machine. |

yeay! i hope to see plenty of nebo representatives at no problemo tomorrow nite! chip is a very talented musician with good taste in music, i expect this will be an awesome show!
btw, precision has really stepped up to the plate for buell service and warranty work, granted most of us can handle our own work but for those who don't have time or don't want to mess with it, precision has 5 mechanics that are familiar and experienced in tubers, blasts, xb's and 1125 models, i have stood over their shoulders through all types of maintenance and repairs these guys are good, many of you know RG, he has completely taken over the service department with over 25yrs of multi-brand experience, precision currently provides some of the best buell service in the industry! RG asked me today to let all buellers know that there will always be a place for people to bring there buells for service!
you know you can count on me for parts and accessories, i always drop what i'm doing to take care of nebros!
i'll be attending hh5 next weekend i hope to see fellow nebos in attendance! |

 If more dealerships had this attitude Buell wouldn't be were where they are now!
Weekend nights are a thing of the past for me. Hopefully we get a couple more nice days and we can all meet up for a ride before the season reaches its end. I think I will be "taking up the rear" for any remaining rides after this last couple close calls. (I can hear it coming now) |

I gotta get out more to watch these "Close Calls" you speak of.
As for Buell.... I am glad I made the choice I did at the moment, Not sure I would be happy if I bought another and this happened....Kinda sucks still though

I'm in the middle of playin' f*ckyf*ck sales games with manch HD. I was just told 7995 for an '08 left over 1125R....ah ha ha ha! Gonna have to do better than that!

I do have to say MHD has been very cool in light of my past problem. They were great in fixing the rocker box leak with no issues. And when it came to wheel mount issue they admitted fault and they were very willing to work things out with me. I am a fair guy and we came to a settlement.
As for their support in Buells I saw an improvement in Buell swag and so on just before the news broke. I believe they were trying. They put the " lineup" right at the front door a few weeks ago I would have liked to see that all along. Being tucked in the corner Im sure that showed a negative vibe. Anyway at this point I hope they carry parts etc. as long as possible. |

Be smug all you want, but it's the whores out there that caused the brand to be unprofitable. Granted, the last dealership that I worked at sucked, but I have always went out of my way to make sure that my customers got the best treatment. My current dealership has strongly supported the Buell brand, and I am offering the best deals that I am able to on our remaining bikes. |

No smugness here Boos, but ya gotta understand, that im not gonna pay 10k for something when a short ride in a pick-up gets it for 5k....or would I? As far as being whores goes, sorry not this kid, i look for the best deal and go from there...sometimes the best deal is List, it was for my cityx and i've never regretted it! you don't suppose that whole 2008 1125R disaster had anything to do with being "unprofitable" as you said, do ya? |

I guess that this is punishment for having stood behind the brand instead of jumping ship like many other dealers did over the past year and a half. Look around. What have they offered their customers besides low prices on products that they are dumping? I am using every available tool that I have to continue to serve my customers. My dealership's inventory and pricing is posted for everyone to see in our sponsor section. This is honest pricing with factory incentives to the dealer passed on.
The long and the short of it is, if you are looking for the best price, then I can give you the names of a few of the wh,ore houses out their. If you are looking for the best deal, then you need to figure out what all goes into a great deal. Sometimes you will pay more to get a great deal. Now more then ever, take care with where you spend your money. |

We had awesome BBQ in Somerville:Redbones earlier.Was great.Then we travelled rt 18 from Braintree to New Bedford and caught the last few songs of the last set.
We were impressed.Great band. |
