Just bought an 09 1125R to sit next to my 12S. I feel like of sorts, but at least the bike will go to a good home. |

Stop paying your loan. It's the American way. HD just undercut you on a loan they own. Leave the bike at the dealer and tell them you aren't paying any more unless they renegotiate to a "fair market value". This is what Americans do with their mortgages, might as well try it with our American Motorcycles. ac |

yah theyd probably laugh at me and then tell me t.s. i always thought that when some thing was no longer produced it became rare and the rarity made it go up in value......in other words everyone hurry up and buy all the buells so the value will go through the roof lol....... Hd is shooting themselves in the foot. |

I would LOVE to grab a 1125r, but at this point (just paid off the SV650s, one year of riding under my belt, going through a divorce) I wouldn't be able to do it for more than $6k out the door. And I'd prefer red. So, anyone around Seattle/Tacoma, WA, have a line one a 1125r in that range? |

We've sold six Buells between noon-ish Thursday and end of business Friday with more folks supposedly coming in today. Sad that a few dollars and some bad news got Buell sales in droves. Perhaps a little more of this back in July & August and we might be blogging about the new 2010 model just introduced. |

Be realistic...Buell should have been offering factory to dealer incentives all along to clear out old stock. No one wanted to buy a 2010 with 2008s still on the showroom. It just didn't help consumer confidence. ac |

I think they were over priced to begin with. They should have had the XB12's for $8495 and the 1125R at $9995. Honestly look at the prices on Jap 600's some are touching 10k now. laughable |

I think the 1125s were priced "ok" at $12k, just needed a better 2008 release. Once that didn't go well they should have fire-sold them 2 years ago and moved into the 2009 that public opinion said was good. The XB12 should have been around $10k as that would have brought it inline with the 600s (its "competition"). The xb9 at $8k would have been inline with its "competition. All water under the bridge now. ac |

You want to under cut your competition if you are the under dog to steal market share. I think they would have sold a lot bikes this way. Oh well, what's done is done. |

I'm with Avc on his last post. I don't think the 1125 was priced out of line. Given its competition (to me at least) of the liter bikes and a couple italians, its in line. The poor launch really hurt sales since most consumers don't know or care about technical prowess a particular bike possesses. |
