Author Message   Ridenusa4l Posted on Friday, October 16, 2009 - 07:41 pm:        Hey guys, a couple days ago i got a ticket for 10mph over(even though i was clocked at 25 over:/) and am goin to get a radar detector... I searched badweb and am gonna go with either a passport 8500 or 9500xi, any other ideas will be appreciated. But my problem is that I have no idea how to connect it to the bike once i get it, and i know about the auxiliary port, but dont exactly know what to do with it, so any help will be appreciated. THANX Jake   Doctorneon Posted on Sunday, October 18, 2009 - 11:04 am:        I run an older passport that has batteries, I then run a wire from the earphone jack (you may have to pay extra to get it with your passport) to an amplifier then to my helmet. I put the detector in my tank bag and the amp goes in the tank bag pouch right in front of me. I've been doing this for at least 23 years. You can plug any standard 12v car accessory into it.
