WTF. I cant believe what I just saw. How is this gonna effect what I just read seconds ago about Eslick and RMR? Eric looked like he had a hard time even getting that out. I hope somehow he can come up with a way to keep building his dream without HD's help. Anybody looking to buy a motorcycle co. step up and buy yourself a potential Superbike contender. |

Well, after I listened for the 3rd or 4th time. Buell will be still with HD. Also parts will continue to be made for Buells. I have to say there is no reason why buell racers could not be racing next year. Also HD is seeling MVAgusta but not Buell. I have a feeling that after the recesion is over and HD restructures, Buell could be back. Now maybe the buells will be made in China, but it might be the only way to match agaisnt the japp bikes. |

Bite your tongue, made in China. I'd prefer to see VW or some other large company buy them. rumers that they wanted a bike company where out there at one time.It may be back to the shed for Eric for awhile. I hope we can see him come back, maybe using other motors with the rotax as the top performer. A boxer buell? air cooled duc, Bimota does it why not Buell. |

this is bad news indeed, I just discovered that Buell racing was not just gang members on the race track. The Buell comunity is first rate, and the race support, (and contingency) is the best I have ever experienced. I have raced for 18 years, racing Buell for the past 2 years. I should have started sooner, Now the hard decisions, do I keep racing a Buell? or go back to Kawasaki? |

If we continue racing Buells will the race parts also be available ? I know HD has to supply stock parts but many of the race parts were only available through the Buell race dept. and could not be obtained from outside sources. |

I feel bad for all the guys and gals that earned their living building Buells. I really feel this is a cold means to an end from HD. HD could easily bring the Buells under the HD brand and continue building them as demand required. I visited the Buell factory around Xmas 07 and as racers we think we have a family; the factory is the immediate family. A small group of hard working Americans proud of their job and excited to be there. It seems so senseless to throw away all of the hard work and R&D over the last 25 years to go in another direction for HD. This is why HD has never been viewed as a real race bike in the sportbike world. HD does not have the heart to see it through. I am sorry Eric, Henry and staff, I still support you. |
