Bob, The logo is great! You got to teach me how you do that!

Kim we do have a color printer, but your idea is the best! A shirt making/fan club dinner sounds great to me. When is his next race? We got to figure this out before then.

Eric I wish I could say I'd be there, but I won't. Chris says if it does not rain he might go, but thats not looking to good either.

Sorry all, but I have to work all weekend. So I'm afraid there will be no riding for the next two days. In fact I've made a deal to insure that really, REALLY bad weather is on the way. I'm talkin' the serious stuff from tornado alley. Enjoy!

sooner, GALEN

OR-250? I'm not going. Looked at the weather forecast on line and it is not looking good..... You might say I am a fair weather rider?

Just checked accuweather for Sunday and it shows no rain between 10am to 5pm. It does show rain at 6am and 9am. So it looks to be a bit of a wet start but clearing after. The most promising part is we know the ride will not go west to the coast since that was the route last year. Any takers. Mike

We're planning on meeting same place as last year, in the Wicks/Staples parking lot across from the entrance to the Honda place at 7:30, start is at 8:00. Remember to change your clock tonight or you'll give us an hour head start. If tomorrow is like today, no problem. Couple light showers, lots of dry periods.

Sunday weather got better as it went on!
Floating bridge

The loop around Mercer Island sure is easier on the XB9S than it used to be on the Blast.
No gravel today... :)
No cops, either. :]

I-90 looking west?

I like to go from my home in Tacoma to Auburn, on Hwy 18 to I-90, across the bridge to I-5, and back home. The section just before Issaquah is a race track. Snoqualmie Falls is a senic side trip.

Right on, Ray. This is the end of I-90 as it enters Seattle. Floating bridges haven't sunk lately.

I like to go south paralleling 167 to Puyallup and then east on 18 and into Snoqualmie and along that scenic route.

Wet streets be careful hit the gas a little at the on ramp as the rear walks over oh yeah baby!!
Then got caught in a heavy down pour.
Oh well can't help but grin put her away and grab a paint brush. later D.

Duane- Eric and I went. We did our best but in the end I was cold and thoughts of warmth took over. We logged around 140 miles. Far enough for me. The highlight of our ride for me was the horse trailer that rallied across I-5 without it's cage attached to it. Eric saw one even better, the lady throwing up on the side of the road. I was sad to have missed such a spectacle.
I look forward to hearing your new pipe Duane. My bike needs a voice desperately. Mike

The Tacoma Narrows Bridge

Down here in Tacoma we don't need our bridges to float. We build 'em up in the air where God meant them to be.

Kim, I am having a problem enlarging the logo Bob sent me. I enlarged it and when I printed it out it was real blurry. Could I send it to you and see if you could do something with it?

Loni: I'm guessing that you need to get with Bob rather than Kim. Have Bob send you a BIG copy of the graphic. It has to be little so we can see it properly on our computer screens but a little picture will get fuzzy when it's enlarged.

If you're going to print the graphic on a T-Shirt you need to start with a larger copy of that graphic. As an example, a low resolution (say, 72dpi) graphic at 792 x 612 (pixels) would print 11" x 8.5" (the size of a sheet of paper). So you need to start with a picture that's at least 750 x 600.

By contrast, the last graphic Bob posted was 294 x 172 pixels and would need to be tripled in size to be large enough to print on a shirt and would, indeed, be blurry.

E-mail Bob and see if he has a bigger version of that picture.

Hmmm, yeah Ray, but it took 'em a second try to the get the Narrows Bridge right after it fell into the water due to a measly breeze.
Booya! ;)

Bob,
I am in for North Cascades. I will give you a call probably this weekend (I'll be in Seattle) and can chat details. But just wanted to let you know I'm in, and have the time off from work. Looking forward to it.
Cheers,
Eric
