Saw the patches on Ebay yesterday, Being the smart arse I am I had to poke a lil' fun. So I asked... "Who's CHOR?" I think Erik mentioned the possible T or C confusion a while ago... This is the answer I got. ""A small, bipedal extra-terrestrial life form. :-) Make sure if you order that you do via the BadWeb link. . ."" That's verrrry funny! Was that you Conway? |

Guilty as charged. The listing as "commemorative Buell Blast patches" has done pretty well. It may do even better now. . . |

So you're selling patches then? Cool. Another thing Badweb has put out there and to think it all started with a warrant for my arrest. LOL! |

Some large BFFB patches would probably sell in Buell colors - blue and black - 12" long and 3" short - right now that is the slogan on the quick board, and a lot of folks are signing with it. In case your interested - lol - Buell Forever! Forever Buell! That could well be my situation, I'm sure I won't outgrow the CR, and maintenance will be religious clock work. With a little luck - this bike and the Blasts will last me the rest of my life. So yeah - BFFB works for me. EZ |

I think I'm done with the patches for now. . . I still have a number of "Chor" patches and I have been going to the mailbox every day since the announcement with one or two envelopes of them! I do like the idea of BFFB patches. . . I'll have to keep that in mind. I want to thank everyone at BadWeb who supported the Thor's Keepers project - everyone who committed to ordering way back in the beginning followed through and, in my experience, that's somewhat unusual. If any other Blasters express interest in the patches you can steer them to the "cost" link or eBay depending upon how much you like them. |

Thanks Conway. I got mine and they're exactly what I wanted! I'll probably order a few more just for the hell of it and to give to other Blast riders as I run across them. If you make the BFFB I'll buy in for at least five. Now I have to wait for payday to get my Thor's Keepers, BadWeb Original shirt and coffee mug! Live to Buy! |

Hey, Conway. I have updated the logo so that the "T" in "Thor's" looks like a "T" again and the "3" in "P3" looks like a "3". Since the original batch of patches was hard to read, this should resolve the issue for all future patches and or existing CafePress merchandise. Have a look and let me know what if any color changes you might suggest. "Thor's Keepers" refined black on white white on black Johnny (Message edited by JohnnyMac on October 22, 2009) |

Johnny - do you have a white on black that is just the circle without the background? This would allow us to use it on items that aren't already black. The merchandise is updated with the "refined" Thor's Keepers. On another note entirely, I submitted Thor's Keepers to Buell as an "official" Buell club and it was approved. I had to list a state so I listed Colorado for now but this group is now "official". |

Conway, is Centennial near Tufts Drive in Aurora or Castle Rock? Used to live out near Cherry Creek and environs back in the late 80s.... |

Centennial is between Aurora and Parker these days. I lived at Tufts and Smoky Hill (near Sagebrush Elementary) 77-81 and then in Parker 81-86 before leaving Colorado for 20 years. I just came back six years ago. |

The new location for ordering patches (for us) and for access to the CafePress store is: www.thorskeepers.com The web site isn't much but I didn't have time to do anything nicer and the hosting was free (so just deal with the ads at the top). Patches are still selling via eBay which has really allowed me to keep our patches at cost and I am pretty certain that everything will come out A-OK. I have referred purchasers to BadWeb and maybe we'll see some new screen names around! |

So let's post some Blast pix on the new website. Then we can photoshop our faces on the bodies of 1%ers that we steal off of google and make it look like we're tough Blastards and not a bunch of professionals with day jobs worrying about our 401Ks and layoffs. |
