I tried searching to see if anyone had posted a pic of a CR with the full fairing but couldn't find anything. Anyone done this yet or is it even feasible? I know it defeats the purpose of a "naked" sportbike but curiosity has gotten the better of me. If not, anybody with photoshop skills willing to post up some pics just to see what it would look like? Thanks in advance. |

I just e mailed http://www.trojan-horse.co.uk/prods/pc13.html to see if there are any plans for a slightly better fly screen or a fairing kit. Well see what they say. |

The 1125R fairing kit that we sell is really only for the R model and not the CR. It may fit, but no work has been done to see if it does fit or adapt it to fit the CR models. To be honest, if you fit a 1125R fairing to the CR then you may as well just buy the R model initially and save yourself some work. At present we don't have any plans for a larger CR flyscreen but that isn't to say that one won't be available eventually of course (Message edited by trojan on October 10, 2009) |

I'd buy a fairing for my cr if one was available. I asked this before and all i got was negative comments on how i should just buy an R. I have a CR i dont like the huge front fairing on the bike, i like the little one on the cr. I would still like the coverage of the fairing over the pods so they dont pertrude so much. Is that to much to ask? |

Carlo Talamo was a great italian buisness man, and died too soon. He founded in Italy the Number One dealer's network in the 80's, when he started to import - for the first time - the Harley in Italy. Same sTory with Triumph: he founded the network of Number Three and started the import of Triumph in Italy when Triumph was almost dead. He was Importer of Rolls Royce Too. He was a glorious buisness man, an Icon. He was an advertiser too.. his advs on italian magazine are unique pieces of genius! even today are in the story of italian marketing, all made by himself, without giving a penny to advertising agencies. He had a big sense for buisness.. personal friend of: notice anyone? there is Guido Crepald of CR&S too.. and the Harley you see - the Night Train - was invented by him. But back to the point! obviuosly he could feel the possibilities of Erik Buell ideas! and the legend says that when he went in USA for the Night Train project, he eve went to east troy, with a slice of cardboard cutted like the famous S1 tail. When he met Erik, he took a tubeframe, and "pasted" the cardboard on the it: than he told to Erik: "if you want to sell your bikes, you have to do a tail like this!" After this he started to import Buell's in Italy! |

Palmer, you just made me soil my trousers lol. I was just about to post a thread asking if anyone has ever converted a CR to an XBS tail. Now I have to save up for a CR, fairings to cut up, XBRR fender, and fond someone that wants to trade tails. The game is on! |

Look sooo sick! I actually prefer the short racing tail in the picture to go with the fairing. But if you want the XB tail i have pretty written a how to here: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/290 431/493466.html?1255519392 |
