I just noticed this today when I was wiping down the bike. It spits out clutch fluid everytime I pull the clutch in. I was wondering if this is where clutch weep occers or do I have a bigger problem. http://s46.photobucket.com/albums/f141/markeagan19 87/2009%20Buell%201125CR/?action=view¤t=DSC0 0280.jpg |

Yep looks like clutch weep! The fix kit is currently on backorder, so depending on the severity of it I would hold off from bringing it in for a few weeks. |

Rainman1ne, Yep thats it. Mine isn't spewing out near as bad as yours. Does anyone know if that plastic cap just pops off or do you have to take the whole cover off. I may try to fix it while the parts are on backorder. |

Turn the puck upside-down, no leaks. If the Pegasus bothers you upside-down, boil it for a minute then peel it off and re-stick so it's right-side-up with the hole at the top. That's how mine is... Z |

Zac4mac, Good idea. I wouldn't have thought of that. |

Zac When the leak past the seals accumulate enough fluid, would not an hydraulic lock eventually occur? |

I would think that it would blow the cap off first. I don't want to try that. I think I will put the weep hole mid way up so there is still room for the fluid |

the fluid is just accumulating behind the cap... turning it upside down puts the drain hole at the top and is just storing the fluid... it will fill up and leak out the top eventually... you will have to drain it by removing or spinning it around occasionally. |
