I'm ready to replace my front tire, and I'm going to buy online from Motorcycle Superstore. Sorry about mentioning a non-sponsor, but that information might help someone help me. So under Diablo Corsa III, it lists 2 models:the 120/70ZR-17 and the 120/70ZR-17N. The Buell website says nothing about the "N," and their website doesn't mention the N as being the stock tire for ANY bike (Buell or otherwise). But the customer service guy says the "N" is the stock replacement for the 1125R. Can anyone help with this please? I really don't want to order the wrong tire, take it to the shop, and find out that I have to send it back. |

I can't help you with what the N stands for but I will give you an opinion on Motorcycle Superstore. I, as well as a few friends of mine, have not had good service from them. I, for example, received the wrong tire from them and my friends have had similar issues. Order from who you want to though. Just giving you a FYI. Matt |

I really don't think it will matter much. My suggestion is save yourself some cash and get a better tire--Bridgestone BT-016 |

The "N" is the speed rating... http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tiretech/techpage.js p?techid=35 |

The "N" is not the speed rating. That would be the "Z". |

I don't know what the N designation is, but I know Pirelli used to make a "T" variant that was supposedly lighter than the standard version. I've always had really good luck with Pirelli tires. I've done many, many track days on the Corsa III's and have never had them do anything bad. |

Typically, a letter at the end like this "N" denotes a different load rating, like if you wanted to put it on a heavier bike or something. But I can't find anything along those lines for that. Get the one without the N - it's cheaper and it's likely what you'll need. And I've had good luck with motorcycle superstore - shipped really fast and had the best to-my-door price I could find. |

I ordered a rear from them. I normally order through NESBA, but I needed to get a face shield and some other items, so I ordered it all from Motorcycle Superstore. |

The "N" is not the speed rating. That would be the "Z". Ok, I try to stick to the facts and be accurate on internet forums. Admittedly, I blew this one though. |

Thanks for the help, guys. A second call yielded no clarification, so I went with the spec that's on my existing tire --- no "N." I've also had good luck with this supplier so far (only one order): they shipped my rear tire to me for free and saved me about $80 over what my local HD dealer was going to charge. I do empathize, though, with those of you who may have had unsatisfactory experiences with them. |

The 120/70 ZR 17 TL 58W "N" spec is the OE tire for the Canadian Kawasaki ZX-10R. |
