Weather looks ok! Partly Cloudy and 57 degrees will require warm weather gear. Who is in? Belvedere Toll at 830am Sunday? The SCR is held biannually on the 1st Sunday in May and October. Sunday, October 4th, 2009 slimeycrudrun.com |

Tim and others up for Slimeycrudrun The weather picture remains the same --> 60 and partly cloudy in Chicago, 55 and partly cloudy in Madison. 20% chance of rain. I'm still in. Bring your cold weather gear for sure and your wet weather gear just in case. Don't forgot your tollway Ez Passes. See you at 8:30am Belvidere Oasis (I-90: Milepost 54.5) |

Slimey Crud Run Ride Report, Marc Hickman and Tim Stewart from WCC attended. We had a great time and did not harm any motorcycles or porches in our ride through rural WI. We did find some slippery deisel fuel on one corner though, which provided an exciting moment, but recovered from this nicely. Lots of gravel this year as well unfortunately, but still great riding, good fall colors and lots of two wheeled brothers and sisters in our midst. We were amazed at the great turn out despite the cool 58 degree temps. Made it all the way to Leland and arrived back in our homes by 6:30pm Sunday. Another great slimey crud...hope to have all of you attend in May 2010. - Marc |

As Marc said it was a great time. As this was my first Crud Run, I was amazed at the number and type of bike there. I could have spent a good portion of the day looking at the various old and vintage bikes. However, the call of great routes and riding prevailed. Note to self - When given a choice, aim for the gravel. It has much better front wheel traction than the diesel fuel. |

Good to hear everyone enjoyed the run and came back intact. It is always a great time. The best I could do yesterday was pull out the CD that Paul filmed with his helmet cam in 2006, and reminisce how much fun the Crud Run can be. |
