"2 guesses- Frank or Court" I was on that like ugly on an ape first thing this morning when I received my morning S2 addicts email from ebay. Hope it's in as good a condition as they said in the listing and hope it fits. |

It is a very nice jacket but not a very good riding jacket. I do not know if anyone noticed but I was wearing mine at the S2 Gathering. |

Thanks for the love Roger Yeah, For some reason my sense of humor is considered a little harsh, sometimes. I wouldn't have bid on this one. Just wanted to help you enjoy your gain a little more! |

Roger...I thought it was funny and all in good fun. After all this is the S2 section and not the Quick Board |

After all this is the S2 section and not the Quick Board If this happen in the Quick Board the thread would be three pages long by now with a lot of name calling. LOL Thread Hijack We actually talk about bikes in this forum and I feel that I have met some great S2 Owners. We all know how special the S2 Thunderbolt is and although it is seen by many as a donor bike for choppers there will come a day that the S2 will reach classic bike status. I look at all the other sections and am amazed at how arrogant some Buell riders are. I never met someone I did not like on a S2. I think that is a testament of how special the S2 is. Anyone can ride a Fuller (XB) or Water Cooler (1125) but it takes a dedicated person to ride a tuber. I ride alone a lot more these days. I just don't seem to have much in common with the new Buellers. I can forgive other brand riders for not knowing what the S2 is but not a Buell rider. Are we elitist? I don't think so. Check out the other sections. I see people looking for other people to ride with in the Uly, XB and 1125 section almost as if that is the only people they want to associate with. I am happy we encouraged and had non-S2 riders show up for to the S2 Gathering. If it was up to me I would make everyone that wanted to buy a Buell to take a Buell history test. But hey, that is just me. End of Thread Hijack. |

2 guesses- Frank or Court. I do not think I have reached "Court" status. I actually "lost" a S2 jacket to Court. Price, 35 dollars.... Damn it! I really enjoy when someone asks about a hard to get part and Court post a picture of them along with every related part! If you ever get a chance to see Court at Homecoming or any other Buell event you will see a true Buell Spokesman and Enthusiast. It is one hell of a show to watch Court talk to other Buell riders. I was lucky enough to have a front row seat last summer.
Notice how he gravitated next to Joe's S2!!! It actually reminds me of that Intel commercial where the co-inventor of the USB Stick walks in the office. Something about "Our rock stars aren't like yours". It cracks me up and I think about Court every time. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jqLPHrCQr2I |

Hi Frank, I think we tuber-lovers are just a little more seasoned in the motorcycle world. I started with a 400cc Suzuki, then needed faster, got a 600 Yamaha, needed faster, got a 750 Honda, needed faster, got a 1100 Kawasaki, holy s....that was fast, now looking for comfy and fast, got a 1200 Yamaha....and then left Germany to come to America, rode a Buell X1 and knew what it was that I was really looking for: character. I guess the fuelframers and waterboys are either young and looking for fast or really serious racers. I am none of that and very proud of my little old ladies ... :-) When will Court start the Buell-o-saur club? |

It's a sickness. . . . . . I've accumulated too much crap . . .but what do you do with a collection of books entitled "Internal Correspondence- CONFIDENTIAL". . . . useless ECM's marked "PROTO" and the test rotors from various vendors vying for the S-1 Lightning project . . GARAGE SALE!

".....actually poor Frank has to ride with a "ICHY"..Harley rider... poor FRANK But anyway just had to get my two cents in.... not sure If some of you guys read in another thread...but I fell in love with a "Lightning Low"...so after I graduate in a few weeks and get a job...yeah never know I may be a proud Buell owner soon....sorry no S2 for me.....that peasky gravity having to reach the ground thing doesn't work with my 5ft2 1/2 inches thing.......still won't get rid of the Harley though....well...everyone take care ride safe, Lynn |

The Buell coffee mug on Court's desk looks pretty cool! Maybe not functional, but definitely cool. I've tried keeping an eye out and haven't seen one before. |

That framed photo of Erik in the Race Shop arrived from the folks at the Milwaukee newspaper last week. Great photo. Rotors were a couple of the test rotors, one from Kelsey-Hayes, that were tested and dismissed when the S1 was in development. |

I **think** (based on reading that someone here had bought one at a dealer) they are. If you have any problem finding one let me know and I'll do some checking. |

Congrats on snagging a great deal on the jacket! I don't wear it as a riding jacket but it does keep an elf warm when he's driving his truck for Santa...
