So after trying both right side scoops, I like the big dog scoop. The heat on the right leg is much easier to deal with now. (Message edited by nickh on October 03, 2009) |

I like the all black color scheme, need to do those headers with a wrap or jet hot in black though. Get the pegs and levers and tension pulley too. (Message edited by Greg_E on October 03, 2009) |

Rode today with mine on for the first time to and from work, 10 miles each way. The fan didnt come on after I parked and shut the bike off which it usually does. Temp was about 60F. |

Thanks. The smaller scoop almost looks out of place. |

It might look good if you were viewing it from a standing position. I think the smaller one is the stock scoop now. |

Yes, the smaller scoop is stock on the 2010 XB's. The big scoop is stock on the 2010 Uly. -Nick- |

I wonder why they didn't use the big scoop for all XB models? |

my biggest question is why didn't do it exactly like the left one, like same size and shape? |

Buell tried that. It caused more problems than it solved.

The Uly has a different underseat section than the rest of the models, and the large scoop is designed for that. |

Is there a chance that the larger rss is cooling our engines too much? If the fan doesn't come on after a ten min ride doesn't that mean It's not reaching optimum temp? |
