Who needs a race bike? I thought if I put a price it might draw more interest. Scoop is, I'm looking to get what I've got into it with parts and purchase price. Everything is there including engine case sealant to put back together, but you have to fund the oil and gas. Bike will start going back together this weekend, but this is the before it's put together price. It does have a salvage title, but only because of not having frame pucks and there is a little rash on front fairing and front wheel. Crankshaft has been balanced and trued and new bearing has been pressed in to case. The case numbers will not match up and all this can bee explained as it is too much to write. The bike is apart, but ALL there! I have a few misc. 04 parts I'll throw in to sweeten the deal. If anybody is interested, please give me a call at 919-274-4834. Bike is in Raleigh NC. If it goes together all the way, I have to ask for more. Hope you understand. This is a deal for the road racer if they are set for it! Thanks! | ||

From the 04, I have calipers, oil cooler mount bracket, oil pump, oil cooler and some bolts. Nothing fabulous believe me. I have run into some more issues putting the motor back together and am exploring all my options before parting out the 06 which is practically complete. It is so close to running that I am not ready to give up on it, but if the machining work costs more than I am willing to spend to get it right, then I will list it as a parts bike on here. | ||

Do you have the screws that hold the body work on? I could use a handful of those and the little nylon washers (dropped one today and can't find the damn thing). On the 06 if it is really that close, it should be worth waiting to find a crashed but running parts machine for the motor. | ||

Yeah, it's that close! I can check my bag of bolts when I get home. I think I saw one or two in there. Not sure if the plastic washers were on them. Thanks! |
