I have an Attack triple clamp that was originally made for my XB9R but never installed it. I now have an 08 1125R and the stock triple clamps look identical. However someone at Attack products says they are different. Does anyone out there know if it will fit the 1125R?} |

1125 has 47mm forks, XB has 43mm. |

Where the tubes come thru the top clamp they are both 54mm. in diameter. By all my measurements they seem to be the same. |

Dennis355, you could try cross referencing part numbers in a buell catalog, see if the part numbers for the XB and 1125R are the same. Usually, if the dimensions all match up, they only have one part number that's interchangeable between bikes. ... just a thought. |

Why would you want to take off the 1125R's 25th anniversary badge for some aftermarket gadget. I don't understand! |

Al at American Sport Bike says they may look identical but there is about 0.070" difference (or was it 0.040"?) in the fork spacing between an XB9R and 1125R top clamp. |

I still do not see haw there is any difference because a front rim will fit on the XB models and 1125 R with the same bearings and no spacers . I guess I will just try to install it and see if everything fits. |

I have a stock XB9R upper triple clamp and an 1125R bike. If I try to slip the XB9R upper triple clamp on top of the 1125R forks, it will not start to fit because there is about 0.070" difference in the spacing between the forks in the two bikes, the 1125R spacing being wider. If you bind up or ruin your forks, don't blame me -- tried to learn ya... |
