last tire change i put a 190 on. didn't even consider it might not fit. it fits fine and i have had no problems [1500 miles or so on tires now] but there is almost zero clearance between lower belt guard and tire. anyone else use 190s? good or bad? |

Uly rear rim width is better suited for a 180 rear, plus the 190 will change the handling slightly . Plus, 180s are cheaper than the 190s, and I have to change them too often anyways. |

I just put a 190 on because I got it DIRT cheap. It fits fine and I didn't notice a change in the handling..... I would put another one on if the price was right. |

i did notice a change in the handling, but for the better. if something would have happened to mess with the clearance it likely would have done so on the nasty loose rock i was riding on last big trip. glad to hear you have had no problems wolf. thanks. |

I regularly use 160 width on the rear. Very nice. |

thanks for the link for the Michelin, but there are NO knobs at all on there. i don't want to start another big tire war on here, but i just moved from a more street oriented tire to one with at least a small semblance of offroadability. i do alot of logging roads. |
