Well...new to me anyway! I miss my Uly and it's vast capabilities, but I found a deal on an 03 XB9R that I couldn't pass up. This is the first time I've ever been on a 9 engine... much less power down low but it picks up once you get over 5k. The bike has 17000 miles on it and some dents/scratches, but the price was right....more important, I stayed loyal to Buell! The race pipe makes my old Uly's stock exhaust sound like a lawnmower. I'm excited to get this bike out on the track next season and see what its capable of. Anyway, I'm excited about my new ride |

Wish I could say the same, but still no luck finding a decent used machine. Lots of salvage/repair titles out there, but those are a huge pain in the backside to deal with. |

Greg, There were plenty of 12's for sale here in Chicago, but they were all in the $4-6k range. I wanted something cheap. This one had been laid down a time or two. I picked it up for $2400 so I was pretty happy with that. It might require some more wrenching than the others but I figure it would be good learning experience for me. There's a slew of 12's for sale out here if you're looking and willing to travel though.... |

Nope, I want a 9R. There are a couple of 12R within a few hours of me, but they are also more than I'm willing to pay right now. The 9R seems almost elusive lately, unless I want one with a salvage/repair title which is far too much BS for me to deal with. Just about out of choices. |
