You're being a little harsh Blake. I thought he did reasonable well for a Barton!

Ok - before we get major thread drift, let's bring it back on-topic. http://www.astm.org/ |

Just testing to see if my request to have my account here (as Crowley) deleted, had been done yet? I have emailed the Admins twice, with no reply, or deletion. (Message edited by adam2 on September 26, 2009) |

So, when you email 'support' which of the Custodians receives it? I see one of them has already responded to the thread. |

Question: So, when you email 'support' which of the Custodians receives it? Answer: There is a Custodian designated as the "Grand Receptor". Generally petitioning Badwebbers traditionally carve their request in stone and request an audience. It varies from case to case . . . . and you have to understand that when you're dealing with Texans that anything . . . BBQ, motorcycle riding and who knows what can upset the schedule . . . . you just get in line and wait. . . it's a little complicated. Badwebber tendering typical request |

I've found that an offering helps them look favorably upon you. Virgins, or good beer, they are the preferred sacrificial items. Back tires too. R |

I have emailed the Admins twice, with no reply, or deletion. You gave the Admin two options: 1) reply 2) deletion Obviously the burnt offering was not sufficient, so the Admin took option 2: deletion You can redeem yourself if you correctly spell the name of this website with proper uppercase/lowercase letters. |

Obviously not the case. When I want a lesson in English language, in addition to my Phd, I really don't think I'll be going to an American website for it thanks. |

All you had to do was say a bunch of nasty made up crap about Buell and bash them if you wanted to get a reply or deletion. Just poking a little fun. |

So let me get this straight. You created one account (crowley) and posted some stuff. You then asked for it to be deleted for whatever reason, most likely being that you don't intend to post anything useful here again. Now you've gone and created another account to "test" if the first one got deleted. Are you just bored or did you take a wrong turn on the internet? If you got lost and took a wrong turn, it was probably about 3000 miles back, somewhere over in europe. It's starting to look like a troll account to me, but I've been known to be wrong before. |

Hmmm......the thought had crossed my mind. I've been aware of Blake threatening Trolls (quite correctly) in the past so I assumed he had powers of deletion. He's aware of the request however, so maybe not. As a Moderator on another Buell website I know how easy it is to delete an account. I did fancy having the option of re-registering to clear mess that's been made of my log in details, so I've refrained from posting something litigious or pornographic. I've always felt a polite request would do the trick but it is becoming a little like dealing with Buell UK Customer Services I still want to know why I need to redeem myself? |

.....and you're wrong again D Adams. If you were privy to the facts you'd understand that. You seem to have time on your hands to butt in on a post that can have little interest to you. Perhaps you're bored? (Message edited by adam2 on September 26, 2009) |

Carbonbigfoot wins!!!! Who-hoooo! Adam2: Sorry... you lost your chance to redeem yourself! CarbonBF beat you to it. Lessee.... Here's another chance. Put a Texas flag on your bike, take a picture and post it here.. That ought to do it! If you can't find a flag, a picture with an empty LoneStar beer bottle on the seat might do it.
