FYI block island would be an unreal place to hold an isle of Mann type tt event. The roads/ scenery here are unbelievable. Good place to come for the day slightly off season and rip around. (and it isn't pretentious like Nantucket or the vineyard really)

I posted this over on the Quick Board, but it should also be posted here. Next Sunday (OCT. 4), A-J Cycles in Gill Massachusetts is having their Fall Benefit Ride. Fall is a great season for exploring the scenic backroads of western Mass. Show up at 11:00 AM for coffee & snacks, then head out at Noon on a self guided road tour, or a guided off-road (Uly & BMW GS) ride through western Mass along the Mohawk Trail and the hills of the Berkshires Arrive at 2:00 at a B&B for a really good hot meal overlooking the rolling hills of New England. I've gone on this ride several times over the years, and it's always a great ride. It's self guided, so you can ride at your own pace, and it's over roads that Buells were made for. It costs $15.00/head or $25.00/couple. Terri and I will be going and it would be neat to see some more Buells out there.
A new dual sport... If I sell my xr, yes. A new street bike, if I total my xb, yes. It's all fixed up, And actually running real good right now. It's going to go play with eric's cbr on weds so well see what kind of tune I'm singing after that. Oh, how I want a fast torquey motorcycle. Finding one that's as zero maintenance as an xb is the challenge.
I guess I wasn't clear. It's two separate routes. One is on all paved roads and is self guided. The other is a small group ride on "Adventure" bike type roads. I've always done the paved road ride, and it's never been a disappointment. They change their routes each year, so it doesn't get too boring.
I will break the silence. How can I post pictures without going "over allowable size" I have been trying to upload some can seem to do it. I am no computer guro. I tried putting into zip folder doesn't seem to work. How are you guys posting those pics inside posts, without linking also?
right above the bullets you'll see a thing called : xat image compression software. Download it. Use it. Post away. (you've got to compress the ish to under 99k I believe)
i think my issue is the camera most of the pic I'm tring to load are taken with fisheye lens. The go pro camera/ video camera even using the xat prog they dont seem to take. Still effin with it
Chippy, 2 days for the 29th just became available....Hint- Hint....Learn twice as much. The first day you get broadsided wit information. The second day you put it together as soon as you get out there...
OH and you should DEFINITELY do the track walk at the end of the TTD. they do it at 5pm. This is a great thing to do BEFORE getting on the track. It will give you an upper hand over the noob's there... VERY informative
Spider, if you use off site hosting like Photobucket, you can hotlink the pictures on to here and be as large as you want.
Also the picture you posted above is only 12k, you can go up to 100k without exceeding the limit. Also there is a pixel size limit, I want to say its currently 1000x1000 pixels. The one I just posted is hosted off my website, its 123k, and 1024x682 pixels. It is just a tad to big in pixel size and byte size to be posted on here.
