Well, it happened. I never seen it coming. I was at a stop light, was red, no traffic, i turned right and at about 10mph half way thru the turn, my rear end swung around on me. WTF. I never saw myself doing it at such a slow speed. the good thing is i have a small scratch on the rear swing arm, scraped rear peg and brake peddle and lever and a small dent in my pipe, nothing to worry about.. no major scratches all small stuff. small scrape on my forearm. Tires were not warm, i was going to slow for the lean angle mainly. Oh well, Shat happens. (Message edited by ripdog28 on September 24, 2009) | ||

Thats exactly what I did while test riding mine! I got back, the guy selling it to me says "Howd ya like it?" I said "Here's your money!"  | ||

ditto. couple of years ago, cold tires & probably frost on the road, 2 blocks from home! did 180. similar damage. | ||

Glad you are alright, and your not the first one. I ended up highsiding like that. I was really hustling across 5 lanes of traffic in Nov. on race dot's, that sucker hooked as I was "trying" to moderate the slide and I was tossed like a rag doll. |
