Several different classes, and I do believe the Buells race with some I4's. I believe Rubberdown is racing in 4 dirfferent classes this weekend at least! |

Anybody here heard of the HR1 exhaust? Or know anyone who runs one? They claim it only weighs 3.5 pounds. http://www.hardrockmotorsports.com/hr1_web/HR1_web _street_Buell_xb12.html The Buell mechanic at HD Greensboro is a long time Buell owner too. He is a big fan of the Drummer. One of his customers has 2 XB's and also an 1125 that he is tuning up for racing. If I understood him, the 1125 has the new Drummer 1125 exhaust. |

Get well soon M2. Sun is coming out in Greensboro. Yahoo. But alas, I have work that keeps me from driving up to watch C3's kick butt at VIR. |

Good to see ya'll at VIR. It was really fun and exciting. Jordan is a FORCE of Nature and the Ray Price Buell H/D family are the best! Good times indeed! |

That was a hoot! Better get your autographs now, Jordan will be moving up in the world of racing! One session I watched him move from the 2nd wave start, within two laps he was passing the first wave, and finished 2nd only to Nate Kearns. A few more laps believe he could have gotten him! Mike Looking good out there on that new bike! The sound of those V-twins has me hankering to get the ole girl up and running again |

Webe, I thought about getting a Blast for my wife but she is 5'10" and the Blast would look tiny under her. Now we have to wait and see if the crones lets up. No way she can ride with that flaring up. Though I suspect I may only get her on a bike again if I buy a full dresser like a Road King. |

Just saw a black Ulysses on Hwy 401 headed north at the Hilltop Needmore Rd intersection. Black with all three bags and a tall windscreen. Anyone on here? I was jealous that I was in the work truck and not on my Uly too! |

She was all smiles and rode it after being home for 10 min. Congrats to Ellen! So glad I'll have someone else to ride with. Webe spent most of Sunday at our house. He changed out the Blasts' plastics...Ellen's Blast is red again and mine is now Black. Webe also bled the brakes on all 3 bikes and he helped me put a Ventura rack on my Blast. While he was changing body work, I changed out the headlight lenses on the Suburban. The old ones had that old dingy dull finish to them. I had the entire front end of the truck off with a little help from Mark. Carlos was a bit startled when he stepped outside and saw the grill laying against the basketball goal! Now we should have good visibility at night when we get to Suches! |

Some good news on Matt Britt. No brain damage or spinal injury. Internal swelling is reducing. Kidney function is normal. He is responsive to commands and it aware of his surroundings when he the medication is backed off. He is able to nod yes and no to questions. He has fractured several bones in his face (cheek, nose, jaw, sinus, palate, not the forehead though). He has fractured several places in his pelvis. He has broken his lower right femur. He has fractured 2 ribs and other bones that will heal on their own, the doctors explained. His parents set up an email address to send him messages. Feel free to send you well wishes to Matt at getwellsoonmatt@yahoo.com He is not yet out of the woods but huge improvements this week. He will be in the ICU for at least another week to possibly several weeks. As soon as he is able to have visitors I will be going. If he has a window room, it would be cool to get a whole bunch of riders outside under his window. If that is possible, anyone here interested? |

Bishop, the wife is off to Ohio this weekend and I have the kids, so can't make it. We will definitely have to get together sometime though. Rubberdown you old dog placing 7th in GT40!! You seem to have a pretty good weekend yourself with many 13th to 16th places. How do you like the 1125R? One question, what was Jordan's qualifying times on the 1125R? I was comparing his qualifying lap time on the Firebolt to AMA times last month. I know you can't take different times and dates, but Jordan would have been fast enough to win Moto GT2. 1:34.36 is respectable on any bike, I just wonder what his times were on the 1125R. |

Thanks M2. I was off the pace all weekend but my primary goal was to learn a new bike and overcome some lingering issues from the last few months. The bike is really exciting to ride at speed. Very visceral. Wide open in 6th going towards the kink is a thrill! It ran perfect with no issues. I was significantly faster on my '04 R6 on the same course last year so I need to figure out what is different and what I need to change in my riding or set-up to get competitive. It may just be a lingering mental issue from events of the last few months that will pass with track time. I'm looking forward to future events! (Message edited by rubberdown on September 22, 2009) |

Buell Sighting: Around 6:15pm yesterday I spotted a blue Firebolt with a stock exhaust turning left onto 401 (not sure of the cross street, maybe Mayfield?) heading towards downtown Raleigh. The color was a dark blue, darker than the factory Thrust Blue, possibly one of the factory custom paint sets (Shifter?). Oddly enough I didn't notice if it was an XB12 or XB9. |

Heading down to Washington this Saturday, does anybody wanna meet up and get some lunch? Jimmy, I'got to go up to Greenvile at some point this weekend (and I've got a new tri-bearing rear wheel and a new ECM flash to get some experience with) so I'll be pretty close by Washington. Since the day I go isn't important I can make it Satruday so we can meet up for lunch. I'll send you a PM shortly with my cell # (which you might still have) and with the # I have for you to verify if it is still accurate. It's been so long since I've been to Washington I don't recall what all is there. If you've got a place in mind just let me know. I hope this notification isn't too late, 1313 |

Damn. 70+% chance of rain tomorrow. It will be my first Jeep drive out to Wilson in months. In fact it will be the first since I got my Buell. I'll have to allow 2:30 for the trip instead of only 2:00. Plus 3X the gas. |

Rain chance 90% now. I will have to make note of the address of the show. I might be able to stop by on my way back from teaching class in Wilson. Mike, if I make it, and and see a 6' tall fat guy with a gray Buell hat, that'll be me. |

Greetings from El Granada, CA. Had a nice flight over. Having a shot and a beer. The weather is perfect, not a cloud in the sky. Heading to Santa Cruz in the morning to visit a couple of friends. Should be a great week for Pat and myself. I've never been to the west coast until today. We can even see the Pacific from the house. Later...! |

Have the kids this weekend so I could not make it. Webe and I are talking about taking the two Blast to BTF3. I think it will be fun taking laps with several Blasts nose to tail. I rode Ulywife's Blast Friday down some of my favorite roads and the bike can be fun. When someone as fluffy as I hangs off the little bike, you really do not have to lean it much to go through corners fast. The transmission needs so help though. |
