Everything is in the HD-net system. Tell them to run your vin # and make sure everything is up to date.

Keep in mind that all of the posts regarding problems are only a small fraction of the total number of bikes. There are a few common issues, but for the most part, the 1125 is a solid bike.

Definitely have them run it in the system. A CR, if it's an '09, might be affected by a cam chain tensioner recall. Other than that, they should only need rear turn signals and the most current ECM flash.

If you are getting a '10, then I don't believe there's anything that needs to be done.

Good luck, you're gonna love it.

I have an '09 and my turn signals work fine. Fueling is the best of any bike I've ever owned (from the factory). My clutch doesn't leak (yet). Brakes work great. Gets 33mpg. Doesn't get too hot.

Basically, I have no issues with it.

Remember to disable the solenoid. It will scare the sheeit out of you the first time it kicks in and you have no power.

Chad - I think my CR runs pretty good as well, but only after the 12Z flash. But it still doesn't run as good as my '07 XB did from the factory.

My XB didn't run right until I put the Race ECM on it then tuned it with ECM Spy. My Gixxer 600 has a PowerCommander on it.

The CR is completely stock other than the noid removal. Runs fantastically.

The best noid thread I have seen:
http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/290 431/490767.html

It's tough to find answers in the clutter some times, give him a break.

I just disconnected the plug(under the seat) and connected the resistor plug, takes 2 minutes and $6.

Enjoy the bike!

If you're going through all the trouble to unplug the noid and install the resistor, take the extra 5 minutes to remove the noid completely.

Welcome to the show, Joel

Like the "synopsis" to the 1125 forum says, it can get hot here, keep your coolant topped off...

A good dealer will run your VIN and get anything that says "OPEN", closed.

Don't worry too much, get the suite of Manuals, cheaper than 2 hours' labor.
Money well spent, IMO.
I use the parts book the most.

But I'm a "Parts" guy. : )
