OK, I checked the knowledge vault and didn't find an answer to this simple question... Does my 2007 XB12R have a tilt switch for auto-shut off? Thanks! |

I'm pretty sure it has a tip over switch which kills the engine in case the bike gets horizontal. |

I still have it hooked up on my race bike which I've had leaned over pretty hard without incident. Leave it hooked up! Some may suggest the opposite but if you do low side, it will keep the bike's rear tire from spinning around and running over you!! www.racingwithralph.blogspot.com |

Not disconnecting! I'm checking with a local track on requirements, and I might not need a tether if the bike has the tip over switch. |

Every road racing org that I know of requires a tip-over switch. Drags and LSR seem to prefer a kill lanyard. |

Yup - bank angle sensor. And you have to turn off kill switch and then turn back on for bike to start back up again. |
