I wish that FMF would locate the exhaust can for the slip-on the way they have for the full system (i.e. under the engine instead of sticking out like a fat cigar). |

I agree, that full system location is absolutely perfect. ac |

Now that you guys bring it up, it would be cleaner if the mid-pipe on the slip on hugged the bottom of the engine like the full system does. |

I would buy the second posted system, looks like it belongs there, more contoured to the bike. what ever the system and can, personally it needs to stay under the bike, center of gravity and lean angle, add some sort of performance ie hp/tq and exhaust note..would u spend 1200 dollars on a rock statue? not on my budget. and lastly not look like i took it off 72 pinto and stuck it on the bike. |

I wish FMF would make the slip on with the piping/muffler style of the full. Give me a simple baffle that shoves in the end of the pipe to keep the neighbors/law happy and it would be perfect. I am not as concerned with making 10hp as I am with adding to the looks/sound of the bike. I will admit it, a slip on to me is more about aesthetics and sound than performance. ac |

I agree it's more about sounds and looks. As far as performance, as we have seen the Buell engineers did one hell of a job engineering the stock pipe. I would be very happy if this FMF kept up with the stock pipe on power delivery. If the FMF slip on dyno is ugly, i will have big reservations about buying one. After all, I am a function over form guy |

Any luck on the dyno for the slip-on? I want this, but not if it ends up adversely affecting the output of the motor. |

Not to rain all over your parade guys, but I think you can only hope for maybe a teeny weeny gain up top and actually lose some midrange with a straight through design like this. Refer to Jardine & HMF results for evidence of this. Additional fueling will help, but like it was said earlier - its tough to improve on the stock design for midrange power. |

You might be right. I am supposed to be emailed the slip on dyno info tomorrow. |

your not the first, but most people who have gotten them have sold them due to the fact that they actually made the bike ran worse. However there were a select few who have had good results, best of luck. Btw great name, its mine too lol Jake |

OK, group buy folks, the pipes just came in. I got several more than I had orders for. The $458 pricing on the group buy deal will apply to all orders received by the end of this week. So if you want one, go here, order one, and mention the badweb group buy in the order comments. And note, the web site doesn't charge your card, that is done offline. So disregard the amount it will come up with, we'll charge the $458 price and not the $549 price. See http://www.americansportbike.com/shoponline/ccp0-p rodshow/16179.html Al |

How would you rate the FMF to the carbon Jardine you sell? I want one of those two pipes but I'm undecided. |
