How about Eslick, Knapp, and West??? That would be a Buell super team. |

Well I hate to say this and I don't want to be flamed for it. But..... if Danny wins this Championship its very possible a factory team could go in negotiations to give Danny a great $contract$. Can RMR afford to do that. If not does that mean RMR pick's up Knapp or what could happen. Sure would love see danny around for a bit. |

Not sure if RMR could outspend a factory team. But if GEICO steps up?? |

That would great. Times are tough for the factory teams.... as well insurance companies. Man I hope so. With the passing of Bruce I hope his family keeps the support alive as well. |

BackCountry, I was at the Indy Mile last weekend for the AMA Pro Flat Track race, there was an Eslick running...how does he relate to Danny? ac PS: How nice of Aquino to low side to give Herrin the win! I was starting to think that Tommy would let Josh by in the last lap. Tommy would have gotten 2nd and Josh got the points he needed. (Message edited by avc8130 on September 05, 2009) |

That was Danny's Brother AJ. He made the show and did alright on a sub par bike. AJ is a hell of a flat tracker, but so is Danny. I don't think Aquino would let Josh by. He wants a win bad. And he should bet one. The kid rides hard. Both of the Yammy kids are chargers. |

I'm very impressed with Aquino and Herrin; great things in store for both I'm sure. I agree that Danny would be contending no matter what he was riding. He proved that on the Matsushima team. I hope he can go superbike next year on an 1125RR and fight for a championship there. |

I hope he can go superbike next year on an 1125RR and fight for a championship there. Why doesn't Buell just go ahead and punch the 1125RR out to 1200 cc's and be done with it...take a page out of Ducati's play-book? No use going into Superbike racing with a 75 cc handicap, is there? |

Rules. They'll need a street version of that displacement first. DSB is about to start... http://wire.ama-cycle.org/ |

This is the first Buell championship in the AMA. History has been made boys and girls. Every Buell rider out there should be proud. If you didn't support Buell, there would be no race program. Change your insurance to GEICO and support them as well. WAY TO GO DANNY!!! We all knew you were a champion when you were tearing it up it the barns on that peewee. Good job. |

Not only an impressive first season for the 1125 but an impressive first season for DMR. Those who refused to watch it missed some incredible racing. Congratulations and thank you to all of you! And a special thanks to you Erik! G |

Can you believe that Danny was almost taken out in turn 1 of the final race. If I hadn't of known the outcome before seeing the race, I think I might have scared the neighbors yelling. Good thing Danny is a skilled dirt tracker; he made good use of those skills staying up and getting back on pavement at speed. Wow! The kid is amazing! The following is an excerpt from Buell:
quote:“I went down into Turn 1, and I’m not sure who it was, [but he] just nailed me,” Eslick said. “I saw somebody come flying by me and wasn’t slowing down at all and T-bone Josh pretty good. I thought “Alright!” About the time I said that, I got hit [too] and we both ended up in the dirt. I tried to gather my stuff back up, and a few other guys went off. I knew where I needed to be to seal the deal. Me and Rog had a nice little battle and it made the race go by fairly fast, especially when you’re riding with somebody you can trust and you know won’t do anything crazy.” Danny Eslick 2009 AMA Pro Racing, Daytona SportBike Champion
