Hello all. I've been lurking around here for a few months and finally decided to join. A whole lotta good info and people around here it seems. Looking forward to getting to know everbody. I purchased my 95 S2 back in June I believe, and have already put 5000+ miles on her! Loving it! I dont know much about these sexy machines yet, but hopefully that will change. My girl: 1995 S2 Yellow Jacket Pearl ?? i think thats what its called Pretty stock...aftermarket signals, Screaming Eagle stuff, intake and others. Vance & Hines exhaust, has the PM wheels. She needs a little TLC, a few leaks, couple cracks and maybe a new paintjob. I'll try to get some pics up. Will (Message edited by willt on September 05, 2009) |

Well, the attachment you sent was just the URL if you have the video in a file that would be great. I was not sure if I could download from youtube. At least I did not see a way to do it. |

I'm in Amarillo, and hosting the next S2 gathering; it will be in the Leakey, TX area. The date is being worked on, but it'll be between April and May. I ride a YellowJacket Pearl S2 as well, though mine is about to change colors and has more in common with an XB by the day. Hit me up sometime if you want to talk about these bikes or Buells in general, or the rally. 806 367 0027. Ross (Message edited by Phelan on September 05, 2009) |

Thanks Essmjay...it definately stands out! And as an update, I called the previous owner and found out the motor is NOT stock lol. Its been bored out and USED to be 12:1 when he bought it, but ended up having a piston/valve contact and he went down to 10:1 pistons...he wasnt sure about the cam. It has Screaming Eagle carb, air cleaner and ignition. Vance & Hines SS2R exhaust. Apparently this bike used to hold a drag record at one point, with its former setup. Just wanted to correct myself. |

Good looking bike Will. Looks like your missing a timing cover. Trick turn signal setup and the long recall shock. It looks to be an original front rotor as well but hard to tell. Ah yes, the PM (Polish Me) wheels. The Yellow Jacket Pearl S2s are great looking bikes. Second only to the Quicksilver Metallic S2T. |

Very Nice S2!!!!But move that ign.key switch to dash,so you won,t get stranded in a rain storm!!It happened to me 3 times before I did it. |

Thanks F_skinner....the timing cover fell off 2 days ago. Need to find a new one. I got tired of the shafts snapping from vibration on the original signals, so i rigged some flush mounts. Kinda streamlines the look I think. I'm pretty sure the rotor is original. I like the wheels, but the finish is kinda rough. Id like to go with some black wheels at some point. And the silvers are sexy too....but not as much as the yellow hehehehe Ebutch, I didnt know that was a problem. Ive ridden in storms 4 times already with no prob....but I would MUCH rather have it on the dash! Any pics of a final install? May be my next project pic of the flush signals:

The original S2 timing cover is still available new. I think we even have one in stock. Either that, or an S1. I'll check Friday when I'm back at work Very nice bike. But you need to get an original green CF aircleaner and get rid of that old Evo Harley filter... |
