excellent. I bet Erik Buell just felt the world lift off his shoulders. Congrats to RMR and all involved! And most of all to Danny for giving all us Buell fans some redemption. Enjoy your just rewards.
Congrats Danny, Richie, the whole team, Eric, and most of all the Rossmeyer family. The whole family is proud of your Danny. Great job. I would buy some of that Chamionship gear right now.
So many people are "living the dream" at this moment.
What just happened was merely a hope 7 months ago. Now it is reality. Erik is living the dream that started nearly 30 years ago and finally has come to fruition!
Richie, Danny and the Team are right in the thick of experiencing their wildest dream come true. With hard work and dedication, dreams do come true.
This is so absolutely incredible. Congratulations don't even begin to cover it. There are no words to truly express myself. I can do this; a
huge Thank You from a fan.. Because you have made it possible for me to participate in living that dream.
We are all VERY PROUD!!!! It was just amazing to be able to be there and share in the joy. Got to congragulate Erik and Danny personaly, words just can't decribe what it feels like to be a Buell enthusist today.
A big thank you to Bruce Rossmryer ,The Rossmeyer Family, Richie Morris, Danny and The Eslick Family, and of course Erik and all of The Buell Family.
On the 1125R, I will mount a DVD screen on each radiator pod with a loop of Danny crossing the finish line at Fontana (1/4 mile wheelie) and pull up beside all the rice burners down town.
How fitting that I just finished reading Court's book on 25 years of Buell. It details the sacrifices, struggles, bad luck, and infectious dedication that overcame all of it.
As an American, I am supremely proud to have an American bike, ridden by an American rider, win an American racing series.
As an 1125 owner, I'm proud to see a variant of the bike sitting just down the steps from me be beaten and abused on a racetrack and never suffer an engine failure.
Wow! Congrats to ALL of the Buell riders in both the Sport Bike and Super Bike classes, and to all out there running all of the other classes. Congrats to Erik and all of his folks too! I have been waiting on an American company to do this since I was a kid. I remember the sixties before the big four Japanese came on the scene and all the manufacturers that used to be out there.....that are all gone now. It has been a long time coming. I decided to go to superbikeplanet to see what they had said....I spelled it wrong, I spelled "superbileplanet" instead. Made me laugh...how appropriate! Congrats! everybody!
Erik looks like a proud father in those shots. He should be proud!! His baby was ridden by one of the best riders in the country (ok, I'm a bit biased) and came home on top. This year has been a great year to be an American road racing fan. Say what you will about DMG, but they got it right with the Sport Bike class.
After this weekend I am really excited to get to Wisconsin at the end of the month. I plan on calling Buell to get a tour. Might have to name drop a bit and tell them I am an Eslick. Haha, think that will help??
My son and I met Danny early Sunday Morning not knowing it was him . I had asked him where he had gotten his coffee. We Started to shoot the bull and I thought what A nice polite happy go luck kid . His parents should be proud of him just for turning out to be such a nice person . The championship is Icing on the cake . Paul End AKA Jake
