Oh yea.... This is all about the slip on. There IS a full system that will be released soon. It is NOT, however, the same full system that is on the 1125RR. It is similar, but not identical. There will be a Stainless (045335) and a TI (045336) system, and pricing is yet to be fixed but is around $1700 for a SS system, $2600 for a TI system. I haven't ordered those yet, as I'm not generally keen on ordering unreleased products. But when it comes out, I would be amenable to structuring a similar deal. Al |

Wow, $1700 for a SS exhaust. I wonder how many they will sell. It is gorgeous, but that is a lot of money! ac |

I would be interested in the SS full system, if it will be able to provide increased performance ( I understand tuning may almost certainly be required to achieve this) My 12,000 mi. service is coming up soon, so I figure while the motor is rotated, why not? Plus, I don't know what this thing will look like, but if it's anything close to that pic, WOW!!! |

Do we have absolutely any performance numbers between stock and the slip on? I really am interested in this pipe, especially for the price Al is offering, but It makes me a little nervous not knowing what we're getting as far as performance goes. |

Al, I can't afford to buy an exhaust right now, but I was just reading this thread and gotta tell you it's really over and above for you to be offering the deal you just threw out to everyone. Kudos on behalf of everyone that will be lucky recipients!! |

The exhausts shown in the two pictures (APEX slip on abvoe) I've posted are available to the general public. I normally work with FMF's MX and off road products so Al Lighton is the best man for pricing and part number information. I will see if I can round up the dyno figures to share with everyone. It will be Friday more than likely before I can accomplish this as I will be out in the field on Thursday. Thank for the interest! I told myself "Self! I wish it was more like the FMF race pipe." But the slip-on is growing on me. And the price is lots more feasible. |

ALright, just put in a call to FMF to get a few of my questions answered and this is what the rep said. 1. No removable baffle in it. 2. It weighs 8 lbs. 3. it puts out about 98-99 dB of sound ALright, I guess I'm game Al. Do you have any in stock? What is your sight's method of payment if not by card? Would it be possible to pay by card over the phone? And a general question to anyone. Anyone know the official dB of the Jardine pipe? if I knew it would give perspective to the 98 dB. Thanks. |

You can order here: http://www.americansportbike.com/shoponline/ccp0-p rodshow/16179.html, or, you can call it in at 760-727-2333. repost of the earlier text that has gone into archive on this thread: But here is the deal: I'll match their price ($458) + actual shipping to the address you give me on this pipe for folks that order it and specify "Badweb Group Buy" in their order comments, up until the time that a pipe sits on my shelf. Until then, I will send them out as they come in, to folks in the order that I receive web orders or phone in orders. Once a pipe comes in and there isn't a backorder waiting for it, the pricing deal will end. Our web site doesn't charge your card, that happens only after the box is packed and ready to ship. So when you order it, disregard the price that it says, you'll get the deal IF your order comment says "Badweb Group Buy" on it. I'll keep pounding my orders into them until I don't have backorders for them. But I can't control their fulfillment rate obviously. At this point, the first 6 I ordered have been sold and 6 more are ordered. None are in stock, but I'm working with the supplier to fix that. But it's going to be a few weeks minimum, since their next production run was already pre-sold. Thanks, Al |

No removable baffle stinks. That is what I was looking for mainly. Now it is the same as most other offerings. I really wanted a slip on I could adjust the sound output with. I don't want to do 750-mile rides with a 100db exhaust, but I would like to enjoy some "noise" for shorter rides/weekend riding. ac |

I would wait for further clarification. I called FMF and was told there WAS a removable baffle. |

The FMF APEX slip DOES come with what they call the Quiet Core Insert. It goes in the FRONT of the muffler, between the muffler and the midpipe, so it does require the removal of the muffler to put it in or take it out. It comes in the kit, it is not a separate purchase. This from the guy I've talked to a couple times at FMF. Thanks, Al |
