So, I'm wanting to add some fog/driving lights to my 9SX. My plan is to get some mirrors with the turn signals integrated in them, and then mount some fog/driving lights where the stock signals go. The lights would be about the same diameter as the stock lights. The only thing I'm really wondering is... how would it look with the standard front fender, and with the duck bill? Anybody have some pictures they could show me of different setups? Also, slightly off topic from the thread title, how well do the Uly bars work on the lightnings? Has anybody ever even tried them? Pictures of that setup would be cool too |

The Uly light bars will work fine, make sure your triple tree has the holes in it for the duck bill fender. Also, in my opinion, skip extra lights and go straight to HID. My 50w HID low beam makes dual 55w PIAAs look like they are off. In fact, once I accidentally hit the switch for my PIAAs and didn't know till I saw the lower voltage on my voltmeter. Oh, and I am to lazy to post pics, but think of a Uly with a light bar, it looks the exact same! |

I know my lower triple doesn't have one of the bolt holes drilled, but it shouldn't be too hard for me to handle. Has the spot for it, just isn't drilled. I'm really going for the look of adventure/touring riding as well as some extra light output and looking larger from a distance, but like the fit, feel, and size of my 9SX over a Uly, if that makes any sense . |

Random, my advice is if Froggy says it, it must be true... (Except for all the hating on 9s) ;-p |
