ask any of the sponsors, but i like Buell of Frederick. Ratbuell from there, is on the board alot. you can find the # in the sponsor section or pm him. They even have parts for Blasts in stock!!! | ||

I just ordered some t-shirts and decals through Liberty Buell in New Jersey, and I was really impressed with their service. I couldn’t believe how quick I got the stuff. Plus they sent me some chamois and key chains as freebies - you gotta love SWAG! Anyway, I have to assume that their parts department has the same level of customer service, so they get my recommendation. And incase you were wondering…No, I'm not affiliated with them in any way. | ||

Thanks everyone, Chris from Liberty Buell was the first to give us a quote and will get the order from us. Yes I did contact a few of the sponsors on the board by posting on the bulletin board, and was awaiting replies, but thought the shot gun approach on the 1125r page would pay off as it seems it did. I happen to be traveling for my real job at the moment, and have tried to no avail for the phone calls. I am writing this reply from a hotel in Sri Lanka. I am asking for parts that are not the normal items that any parts person is used to, and with that get put on hold and disconnected alot, truly not their fault I assure you. We have a great group of sponsors and know they will do everything to get a Buell on a podium no matter where it is at. | ||

Chris, at Liberty is VERY FAMILIAR with the race parts you are getting, has bought them on a number of occasions and has excellent and rapid access to Buell Racing for parts and technical support. I'd not hesitate one second to deal with the folks at Latus either . . when I was living in Kansas I visited Latus on 7 occasions and they've been committed to the Buell mission since day one! These guys . . and several others . . . are VERY good. Court P.S. - just occurred to me that perhaps, after what I did to a Bimota that Latus took on a trade, I shouldn't let George know where I live now. | ||

We do have some great sponsors here and they have been helpful and these guys do know the Buell racing parts and how to get them. The problem I was having and mostly my own fault was I was looking at this from a purely logistical stand point and calling on the dealers in the major cities on the east coast, New York, Atlanta and Houston. Many HD dealers as you know seem to do Buell as a sideline and the parts and service departments reflect this. That is also why I posted this on BadWeb as the dealer personnel who are on this board are passionate about Buells. |
