Upgrade...what's wrong with the brand, part number plug that's in it now ? What would be considered an...upgrade? Mike |

Iridium spark plugs are considered to be a bit of an upgrade as the iridium center electrode is much harder and smaller than steel, and lasts longer. Considering what a pain in can be to change the rear plug, it might not be a bad idea. I got about 15,000 miles out of the last set I used, and they were still working well when I replaced them. I use Denso Iridium IXU 24's, NGK is excellent too. Cost about ten bucks each. Here is a link to the Denso site that discusses the technology involved. http://www.densoiridium.com/ |

Don't mess around. Get iridium NGKs. No fouling. It will feel like a new bike. |

I don't have a problem I change my plugs every time I change the oil and I change the wires once a year.I know its overkill but like I said for me it isn't that hard to do I have a swivel socket with a 4" extebsion the back plug is no problem at all don't even pull the lower airbox cover off I have a long hangle pair of needle nose for the wires |
