Al, I'm interested in a full system. Not a slip-on. Let me know. Thanks, Frank. |

I am actually interested in a full system, too. However, if the slip on would work with header pipes yet to be released, then I'm in. |

Al, I'm interested in the 'slip-on'. Does it come with a half-header? tx. |

Hi everyone - I am interested too. If its not too much trouble please post the price difference between a (group buy) slip-on and a full system. Dyno results for each option would be helpfull in decision making too. Thanks! |

On mawonline.com, the price for the FMF pipe is $457.95. Just for some kind of comparison if the group buy gets going.. maybe try to aim lower than that. Hehehe. I would also like to be in on it, but my new truck needs some more go-fast parts, and my credit card needs to be paid off before I start wanting to use it again. |

...and mawonline is a new sponsor here. NOT! BTW MAW charges low retail price and makes much of it up in the shipping fee. |

Hehe. Yeah... that is a pretty big shipping charge. But without taking that into account... it's still less than $490. It's still something to notice. It's around $100 less than the MSRP from the FMF website including the expensive shipping. Just something to keep in mind when getting a price for the buy. |

I'd be in for a full system too. It's nice to see a wider variety to product getting in the pipeline! |

Michael: Looks cool, somehow I don't think that is what we are talking about. It appears to be a "little" more complete system from the heads to the rear wheel. More like the "Off Road Only" track version. Al: From what you know, the price we are looking at, would include the slip-on and mid-pipe? Do either of you know if the slip-on will require mapping mods? Thx Neil S. |

Leechykyle, How this? How about if you are interested in saving a few bucks at the expense of supporting the folks who fund the ongoing operation and maintenance of this site, you start sending us $20 every month for the privilege of using the site? Fair enough? Don't be such a cheapskate. Al Lighton and many of our sponsor provide a significant service with their shared Buell knowledge. How about giving them their due? |

Cc, that's the full system some of these guys think they want. I heard that thing at mid Ohio on the 1125rr, and let me tell you it's one mean sounding set up. |

Mean as in very loud and aggresive tone. Not street or leo friendly. It sounded cool, but no way I'd want it on a street bike. It made Higbee's superbike sound stock. |

Some additional info: There is a batch coming out in the next week or so, that batch is already fully spoken for. There is another batch coming out a couple weeks after that. I should be able to get my hooks into one or more of those. I have 6 on order, and can order more, but they aren't likely to be filled in one fell swoop anyway since their entire production is being consumed anyway. We aren't generally in the price matching business, as the big boys like MAW and Chaparral and such drive their purchasing at distributor rather than dealer pricing levels. Their shipping price sounds expensive, but I just entered a Jardine RT-5 into UPS worldship from here to the east coast and it came to $31.09 ground. It is driven by box size as much as weight, and I don't have their box here now. The Jardine box is a reasonble guess. But here is the deal: I'll match their price ($458) + actual shipping to the address you give me on this pipe for folks that order it and specify "Badweb Group Buy" in their order comments, up until the time that a pipe sits on my shelf. Until then, I will send them out as they come in, to folks in the order that I receive web orders or phone in orders. Once a pipe comes in and there isn't a backorder waiting for it, the pricing deal will end. Our web site doesn't charge your card, that happens only after the box is packed and ready to ship. So when you order it, disregard the price that it says, you'll get the deal IF your order comment says "Badweb Group Buy" on it. I'll keep pounding my orders into them until I don't have backorders for them. But I can't control their fulfillment rate obviously. Al |
