Thought I would stop in and say hello to all the KC Mob, it's been awhile. Buelet welcome home nice to see another Uly rider in here. You have some nice roads near Parkville, you been on hwy 45 heading to Weston lately? I am looking to head that way in a couple of weeks, touch base with me and we can lay down some miles on the Uly's!, one more thing, Gail's is a great dealership don't listen to the whiners that took the low road so to speak, I know personally as I used to be the Buell salesman at Gail's. | ||

Thanks Trueblue! We've been in to Gail's a few times recently. My wife & I have been looking at the CR & 09 XB12Ss (TT in disguise!) So far they've treated us right. I don't really know what it is exactly that they did that upset everyone, but maybe whatever it was, they learned from it or everyone else will come around. Whichever the case may be. I haven't really seen many nice roads around here yet, so I'm open to a tour! 45 is scenic, but not much else from what I've seen. We actually live right off of 45 (mile west of 435). My cousin and maybe a couple other guys on metrics are coming up from Topeka to ride this area tomorrow. At the very least it'll be him, plus me & my wife. Don't have the details yet. Great weekend for it. We're down to ride almost anytime, so if anyone wants to stage a get together or ride, don't be shy! If the other guys or my cousin don't mind (Can't imagine they would), I'll try and post details of our ride tomorrow in case anyone wants to ride with us. (Assuming I get the ride plan enough in advance.) Ok - Heading out to make a Wal-Mart / supper run. (Evenings entertainment... aka Excuse to ride.) Later All! | ||

It's not going to be a local ride today (it was originally), but if anyone wants to go, that'd be cool with us. We're looking at leaving KC and heading towards Topeka to join up w/ another rider, then on towards Council Grove, KS (another 70miles from Topeka). I think we're going to be riding the Alma / Cassoday area. If anyone wants to go, we'll wait to leave until 11:30 - 12. Last time I bought something at Gails they charged me 10.00 over the marked price I did not catch it until I got home and it was only a 49.00 item that cost me 59.00. All other stores sell it at the regular 49.00 price maybe someone need a couple of extra bucks for Starbucks. | ||

Richie, I have a friend of mine that opened up a tactical store recently, (used the money he made working for blackwater). They have a range they invited me to and I believe he said 350 yards. those of you that ride ks hwy5 into Lansing use caution I was riding yesterday and started to ride that hwy and found they were putting down a new layer seal coat using tar and gravel so I would avoid it for a month or so until the gravel has been packed and cleaned off the road. | ||
