Harley Davidson make me laugh. I must be in their data files numerous times, having bought parts for the M2 from various dealers over the years & now owning an XB I bought new. I frequently get advertising stuff from them, either by post or email, inviting me to try the latest shiny thing or visit the latest super mega wonder store (painted orange & black of course). However I never receive anything from Buell. Do they think my Buell's not a "proper" bike & think if they bombard me for long enough I'll see the error of my ways & succumb to chrome & pointless illumination? Or are they unwilling to admit I'm a Buell owner & just class me as a potential Sunday polisher? I'm not likely to be buying a Harley anytime soon, & if I do it won't be a gleaming monstrous testament to bad taste, it'll be something with no frills that needs no cleaning. Oh & I'll not be dressing in your latest range of "Look at me I'm bad" clothes either. There's entirely too many people walking round looking like dicks, I have no wish to increase their number. So please Harley Davidson, stop chopping down forests to send out pointless bumf to me, just put some Buell swag in the post & I'll be a happy & appreciative bunny. | ||

I hear ya. I get so much HD crap it is amazing. I have nothing against the chrome and leather crowd, but it is just not for me. I liken it to sending me a ladies underwear catalog. Sure I wear underwear, but you have the wrong person for that (of course the pictures would be nice). Same thing with the HD stuff. Sure I like motorcycles, but you have the wrong person for the stuff your peddling. Heck I would rather get ladies underwear catalogs. At least I would look at that, the HD stuff goes straight in the trash. | ||

I don't mind the "take a free test ride" stuff in the mail, and I usually do thumb through whatever they send. It won't get me to buy, but it beats getting a "Refinance now at a lower %" or the "We've reserved a new credit card just for you" piece of junk mail. | ||

I get nothing from H-D and nothing from Buell. But then, I ride a Blast. Hmm, maybe they are a little picky. | ||

I signed up for the "paperless" bill payment. Sure enough, I get a paper statement and bill every month. I get a bill for next month's payment a day after it comes out of my checking account through auto pay. I don't understand this. | ||

I've recently been getting email from the mother ship for me to trade in my current bike and buy a Sportster! Sad indeed. | ||
