Ray- Hey thanks Man ! Thats exactly what I wanted to hear (confirmed). And Yes, I've been to Vancouver several times and love that city. Thats one reason I wanted to move upto that region. I had heard so many conficting reports about the area. Every time *I* was there- the weather was beautiful. I can't stand Snow anymore...we had the worst winter this year I can remember, with record cold temps and waaay too much snow. I need out of Cow country.... I think I'll trade this for that :-) P.S.- yes I know Norm from Seattle. I'm not going to comment on his new XB9S as he was a fellow Blastard B4, and now he despises them. Personally I despise wasting money.... I'll see ya in about one year...if the whole world doesn't go to hell B4 that...? Save me some curvey roads :-) ~Ralph |

RaY2K the post whore here, A nice man named Jeff Montgomery put the following message up on a different BBS and I copied and pasted it here for your pleasure.
Quote:Suspension settings I have a subscription to Sportrider and they did some articles on suspension settings. If you go to www.sportrider.com and look under tech you can find the complete articles. They explain suspensions and terminology. They also gives recommended settings for most sport bikes, including Triumphs. Its free and informative.

Hi everyone. The surgery went well. I am home and in the great hands of my hubby. He's been the best! I have a half cast right now and have to keep the hand elevated. The doc says everything should be fine. Last night I guess I started having an allergic reaction to the Vicodin they gave me. I instantly went into panic attack mode. Chris rushed me to the hostital and they said they just wanted to let the vicodin run it's course threw the body. They ended up having to give me Zanex to calm me down and replaced the vicodin with motrin. Scared the shit out of me. Well I need to get back to doing couch duty. Loni PS...Kim they do make skirts in Chris' size but it's the white hat that turns me on! |

Hey, I just found this forum hidden in a small corner of BWB. Flame bait from Blastoholic (Ralph_the_3rd): "yes I know Norm from Seattle. I'm not going to comment on his new XB9S as he was a fellow Blastard B4, and now he despises them. Personally I despise wasting money." Hey, I had more fun on my '00 Blast than any cycle I had up to that point. The deal and then the trade in I got to buy the XB9S was too good to pass up. The XB is awesome! My xb9-yahoo site is up to 71 members and is quite active. |

Oh yeah, thanks Ray for pointing me this way. Blasto: NW Washington is nice in the summer and fall and is somewhat wet at other times. Pretty green up there it is. Cheaper than Seattle, duh. Much more rural. But there are some nice roads to ride and most any dry day is a riding day, with the obvious exception of freezing weather what with the water being close with nice frosty patches of pavement to sail across. When you come, we'll have a Buell party on your front lawn. Just say when. |

Damn we had a good time today. Managed to put in 230ish miles of spring weather on some buelltiful twisty roads. 5 Buells showed up, Cris on his S3, Ernie on an S3, Steve on an XB9R, Shotgun and yours truly on M2s. We rumbled through the back roads and ate at Humps. You know it's a good ride when you have to wait for the ferry to cross the river. I managed to lift the front end one at least one time for Loni, you’re in our thoughts girl. Come out and join us next time. Route map from this ride is below.

Hey Norm ! Heh-heh...Yeah, Yeah the XB9S is great.... but so are dozens of other bikes. HEY~ What do you mean have a Buell Party on my Lawn ? You ain't gonna be making Happy Faces on my GRASS ! Ok, let me get this straight.... Summer is only 2 days long and is great if it falls during the weekend. Grass never needs watering... and you don't need a compass because you can always see the moss growing on the tree trunks north side ? Yadda- Yadda -Yadda.... But I like the rural and cheaper aspect of that Area....And Oh yeah, nice to see you again Norm. BTW I emailed you months ago about these weee corners of BadWeb. Hey Norm, Who founded that Yahoo XB9S group you moderate ? 71 suckers....oops I'm in that Group ! But that'll teach me never to relinquish my founder status ;-P What All American Male doesn't like Naked Women on Buells ???? {bait-set and match} |

Thanks for the wheelies Spudman! I am sure you managed more than a few! I want to say that I will be there for the next ride but know that it will be impossible. By the time the next ride comes around I will be in a full cast. I honestly am thinking that I will be lucky if I get to do SPLASH. But I won't miss being there for the world. 2 wheels or 4 I will be there. One question, where is our "CODE RED MAN"? I have not heard from you lately....Could I get an update on future riding adventures, and racing scheduals? Loni |

Loni, Even a monkey can hang on with one hand. Get that Chirssy boy out of a skirt and on the road. I recommend countless hours of motorcycle therapy for both of you. Are you going to be at the Sunet Thunderr Club Meeting TONIGHT!!! 7PM Silver Dollar Pizza in Beaverton corner of Denny and Hall See you there ... |

Galen, Guy is getting fast on the Busa. He's pretty pumped. Can't wait to do the SPLASH ride. Are you going to join us on the Vancouver Isl. adventure? We'll be packing a full kitchen and planning to hobo camp wherever we can find a flat spot. Does it rain much up there where you guys live? Paul |
