Does anyone have the part number for the 2010 LSS? I bought the factory RSS (little one) and figure I should just round it out with the updated scoop on both sides to get the most cooling benefit. Bike is a short frame, '06 XB9SX. Thanks, --Sean |

Yep, it has a little strake at the bottom of it. Check the pictures on Buell.com. --Sean |

Obviously it is there for flow. As long as I am upgrading the scoops, I might as well go with the latest version on each side to make sure everything flows correctly. Little changes can make for a big difference. Besides, it'll only cost $20 to find out. --Sean |

As far as I can remember from reading a similar post. The scoop changed in 2008, the flat piece at the bottom is to accommodate a wiring harness and hide it from view. Other than that, its the same. |
