Well I finaly made it home from Afghanistan. First I just wanted to thank everyone for their support through out the trip. So I bought a couple of parts for the bike and was able to put them on and try then out this weekend. I got the Buell Pro seat for the rider and passenger. I loved my seat. but my wife didn't like hers. thought it was to high. oh well. I also got the Buell traction grips. What a difference they make. Very nice.
Well me and the wife got a baby sitter and where able to go do a little riding. Well 5 min in to the ride it started to rain, so we pulled over to let it pass. 5 min later it was gone. We rode around central Arkansas. We got to Mountain View and wanted to go back a different way so I was looking at a map and found a different way back. The lady said "ya that goes back but it is really windy" great thats what I was looking for. Someone else tried to get me to go another way also. but I had to tell him I was looking for windy roads. This road was great, up and down hills, 3-4 switch backs in a row. I was loving it. Well here are some pics hope you enjoy. Steve

Juniorkirk where are you going? Southern Afghanistan the weather is not bad. it is actually starting to get cold at night when i left. still around 100 during the day. I an in the Airforce so I never left the base but the base got a rocket/motror attack at least once a week. The base held a ramp caremoney at least every 3-4 days for a fallen soldier. either marine, army or another country. Be safe over there. |
