I finally put one my new to me handle bars. Thanks littlebuggles for the free bars!! ok the first shot is the handle bars next to each other.
The next one is after i removed the fly screen and dash instrument bolts.
and a closer look
The next one is the left side with the bars removed completely
This one is the new bars on loosely and left controls partially on
Next we have the bars almost finished and shot from the front.
This next one is shot from the rear and is almost back together!
And finally finished!!!!
The left grip would not come off at all. I had to pull on it while i sliced it away, It was stuck on so well. Then i had to use the razor knife to scrap the last of the rubber and glue of the bars so i could slide the left assembly off. |

That electrical tape was to keep the switch-gear from rotating as I didn't have access to a drill press to make proper holes... Looks nice, try them upside down for a racier position, may not have proper tank clearance though. |

Are the X1 stock bars pushed more forward than stock M2 bars? As in not as much pull back? If so, I may need a set of those on my M2 as well. That is an interesting way to put clubmans though. I like it. |

Oldog It is a cycle shell it has a solid bottom and you can put your bike away hot! Then close it and lock it up! Here is a link http://www.cycleshell.com/index.html A little spendy but worth every penny!! EDIT: There is a little video in the use section of the site! Did the bars hit the tank on full lock? |

You have them mounted upsidedown and backwards, those are clubman bars with extended length grip. |

I tried them the other way and they were way to low for street riding so i flipped them over. They feel ok actually and they don't hit the tank. So i will run em until i get the one's i really like done in black. |

I tried that awhile ago and it did work but the angle of the bars did not work for me. I found a different set of bars that worked but they only work with the SPEEDO ONLY. Not the tach/ speedo combo |
