Yesterday I was looking at the front tire when I felt a fair amount of exhaust coming from where the header and the V&H slip on join. I don't believe that I have noticed this before. Could the clamp be loosening from the vibration or could this be a issue with something else? Any input would be much appreciated. Jim |

Ya need to put some high temp silicon around it(inside) to keep it from leaking. |

James, Red high temp Permaex (Pep Boys) works well. The factory uses a similar looking material so thats what I used on my V&H. Word to the wise, apply to inside of V&H on outside of header. |
