I love my Buell but think i'd like to try something different. Scott - definitely agree...got much better on the clutch and a better feel for control when accelerating hard... Saintly...Butch? Really? Damn...guess I'll have to work on that... I'm hoping to see you guys at the HH ride...but won't be on my bike...I'll be a support driver. All - I'm on blood thinners now...will be for the next 3-6 months...so the bike is getting mothballed for the rest of the season...just not worth the risk if I have the smallest of accidents...even cuts are going to be a possible major issue. Catch ya all at a breakfast as soon as I can get out of the house.   Eboos Posted on Monday, August 24, 2009 - 02:11 pm:        Race report Saturday Race 8 NV THBK I didn't run any of the practice sessions due to wet but changing conditions and I didn't want to keep changing my wheels. I was gridded in 2B which I found out that you can't see the flagger from that position. I ended up getting a good start and was third into turn one. Into turn 3 I got passed close on the inside, but I held my line and my speed. Determined to hang with the leaders I went into 6 a bit hot. At the apex my rearend came around on me and I thought for sure I was going to highside. Instead, it bucked a bit when it regained traction and pretty much tore the bike out of my hands. I slid away and the bike stayed upright and rolled pretty far into the infield grass between 5 and 6. I got up completely uninjured, not even a bruse. The bike was unrideable and I need to fix a few things to get it ready for the next round. Nothing expensive, just going to take a bit of my time.
