I've sold my lightning and no longer need this, so...I'm cleaning out the garage. I don't think you'll find a buyer willing to pay what the piece is worth. I know, I know.. it's only worth what the highest bidder is willing to pay. Whatever.. It's a super rare part so shouldn't be sold cheap, BUT most people won't spend $200 plus on a small piece of plastic. I'm anxious to see how much interest your auction attracts.. Btw since getting into Buells about 2 1/2 years ago, yours is only the third I've seen for sale. I own the first one I saw for sale  | ||

It's worth that much to me to stare at it on the garage wall. You don't think it's worth that much, but that's the beauty of a free market - it doesn't matter. You say it's worth what a buyer is willing to pay. I say it's worth what I'm willing to sell it for. Like I said before, mine is worth not a penny less than $300. I'd have to agree with Bads1. This particular forum is for selling Buell related items, not ranting about price versus value. If you don't like the price, don't buy the item. The seller isn't particularly interested in hearing about how someone outbid someone else on ebay. An item is worth whatever someone is willing to pay. Period. Take the rants to the Quickboard.
