Living in Horseheads, NY do not have a lot of services handy, needed some help w/ an upholstery problem so dropped by local custom fabrication shop (www.protouchcustoms.com) to ask who does his work. He was generous with his time & helped me a lot. This ride caught my interest & chatted w/ him about it. This what he did w/ his Buell. Said that he likes this ride but misses his Buell (something about a hard tail & a back problem).

I think there's more "Custom Choppers" now than there are original tubers! Kind of ironic. |

Wow. Truly disgusting. Not only was a Buell dismembered to create a caricature of a motorcycle, but it is not even a good looking one at that. |

That looks feral. I wouldn't admit that was spawned from a Buell. |

My tuber just became slightly more valuable. To me anyway. I want to go give it a hug. It's OK sweetie, I won't sell you to a chopper shop. |

Years from now...A clean tuber will be worth far more than the the choppers that some have (unfortunately) been turned into. |

Patches - I wouldn't admit it within earshot of my garage, but that bike is dead sexy! China - I can't explain with words how big the wheels on this thing were.. pictures don't do it justice. They had to be at least 20"

SOFA KING WE TODD ED!!! GOD I hate to see good Buells chopped or cubed. Now I sound like I'm ordering hash browns from Waffle House... I'll have mine scattered, smothered, chunked, chopped, topped, and cubed. Crispy, please... |

That's gonna suck in a cross wind! I like the first XB chopper Buellinachinashop posted posted, and that red bike (Patches) is sweet, too bad about the donor motor and pulleys, could prolly buy just those parts off ebay though... |

99savage, funny seat angle, did you have a sit on it? Maybe if that dude leveled the seat and got some easier reach bars his back wouldn't hurt so much, I'm just sayin... |

One of my favorites is the Goodwood salt racer.
Here's a link to Krugger, the builder of the Goodwood. www.krugger.net Here's a link to the video of it out on the salt. http://www.krugger.net/index.asp?rub=videos&video=goodwood_bonneville#photo |

He's wearing black leather out on the salt, more than just his knee is hot. Besides that's built for speed, not comfort. |
