Damn shame an unknown actor/vagrant wasn't killed, or NCIS would have had the culprit by the 3rd ad break. Sorry about your loss mate but at least it was only property. |

I wonder if it was that one dude? He was a real piece of work, had anger management written all over him... You treat everyone who shows up pretty well, I can't imagine your shop having too many enemies. Let me know if I can help. We can chat when I come by for a rotation, if your hands aren't full. |

August has been an odd month for salt lake, davis, and weber counties as far as fires are concerned. Saw this on the news this morning. Sorry to hear about it, I hope the coward responsible is caught quickly. |

Nice to hear from real "people" ulywife and mike. Mike i know you are a busy man! I really appreciate your offer and support. This is a small family owned store, It is here for the community. All the money goes back into community as this is a franchise and local. We have been doing very well lately given the state of the economy, things were going well. It is terrible that some person would even do something like this. My dad who has recently retired, Also works for us as a tire runner (he goes and gets tires from warehouse) also he does errands(To keep him from being bored and active). He was so upset he couldn't drive to get tires. I was just mad all day and peoples "JOKES" Were NOT APPRECIATED!! We are fully insured Like you would not believe, But this is really bad, We have no time to get involved with these companies that do the Disaster clean up! I was literally bombarded by these guys wanting the job! There were 6! Even 1 public damage adjuster called. We are so busy and to keep things moving we have to do the clean up NOW!! No waiting for the companies to get people to do it. We did it ourselves. Luckily we have a good reputation for helping the community and a the shop 100 yards away from us is a utility machine and tractor\generator rental Store let us use there portable industrial compressor, That powered the whole store for.... FREE! We have to stay open for our lively hood and the community. The "REAL" Customers showed there faces, They might have not been our favorite customer's but they called and visited and brought food and snacks! The best part was they wanted to see if we were OK, Even though we were not there. Yo brandon didn't you hear about the BUELL rider super hook up discount at our shop. If you need car tires or repairs call me. Oh wait whats left of the shop Thanks RUSS |

You find who your friends are in tough times and sometimes your friends are people you don't even know that well or like that much. I'm too far away to help much, but you have my sympathy, best wishes and mutual indignation and anger. Any idea if this is a random arson? You guys got a bug in Salt Lake? |

We did it ourselves. Good on ya! Self reliance is very strong in my book. Hate to hear bad people doing bad things to good people. I hope they catch the son of a bitch! Wish there was something I could do other that wishing y'all the best. |

priorities - are your Buells okay? j/k I don't see why people do this sort of thing. I see a lot of this selfish attitude every day - people just don't care about anyone except for #1, and it doesn't bother them to be destructive even when they get no personal gain from it. Glad to hear that you have support in the area via neighboring shops and customers. |

Russ, Sorry to hear of this - it's just wrong. I hope that you and your crew stay strong, and that the community rallies around you. People's true colors show through in tough times - the customers who came by to offer food, snacks and sympathy proved that, and I'm sure you'll see more of those kind of things in the next few weeks. Sure hope they catch the SOB. |

Preybird, Really sorry to hear about this. Good to hear you're not letting it stop momentum and you're getting stuck into the clean up and moving forward. The fact that neighbouring companies and customers want to help out is a great reflection on you and your shop chili |

Sorry to hear of your misfortune. I hope that they catch the firebug and let justice be done. I also hope that things work out for you and it all comes out on the plus side of the balance sheet when all is said and done. |

I would like to thank all the badwebbers for there support and there kind words. We are doing great today, Yesterday we did well in sales and we have one load of burned tires to take to the recyclers. Then we can scoop up rest of the burned dust and crap. The insurance adjuster was here already and we should get some news there. They won't let us finish until they decide the damage totals. |

From the pictures it looks like they torched your regular parking place, so glad that your bikes weren't around for that! PM me the name of that dude (white truck) if you've still got it, I'll see if we can find anything new on him at work... That tractor shop (across the canal?) has been around a while, awesome hook up! |

Russ, I have a deal for you, the front tires on my 05 F150 are just down to the wear bars and I wanted to get them replaced before I leave early next Sat for Bonneville. None of my local suppliers have the required BFG 255 65 R17 in stock. If you can ship your bike out to me to have it tuned, don't see why I can't drive from Wendover to SLC to get my new front tires. I have to pick up Christine at the Airport Sunday evening so please give me a call and let's work out the details. Terry - www.jtsperformance.com |
